"Cheap economy room"
This hotel is actually a motel. Bare essentials maybe a little less. Parking is a battle. The lot fills quick & optional parking is far long cold walk. No elevators, so if on 3rd floor climb is not bad, but lugging gear is. It is located at 1st quarter mile of access road. Nothing special! Was clean. Bath Towels are small. Room cleaning must be requested. […] No individual heat/hvac controls for room, so management sets the temperature, which was ok, but no place to dry wet ski gloves?? Minimal electrical outlets... "Just a cheap and nasty"
Terrible. The facility is not old but the room was dirty and dusty. There was leftovers cookies at the foot of the bed and many hairs in the towel. "Not Made in Vermont"
A very interesting (in a bad way) stay. I was the only person staying there my first night.When I entered the room, the lights had the most horrendous, flickering buzz; all of them. The sheets and blanket had rips and tears in them, there was no thermostat ac/fan/heater for white noise (not really an issue for the only tenant in the building), and only […] a standing shower. The second night, a total of three rooms rented out and we were packed in right next to each other - 102,103,104. This, combined with the air duct heater and no white noise available, led to a rather noisy night as amorous couple mamboed and TVs raged through the night. Why not at least put one room between, or whole floor, us? They had upwards of 80 available rooms and they put us all right next to each other as close to the office as possible. Sucky. "Hillside Inn - Better off in a tent"
The parking situation is laughable and keep in mind that this was with a very insignificant amount of snow on the ground. My room hadn't even been glanced at by the chain smoking cleaning crew upon arrival late Friday night, but after a circular dispute with management, finally got moved to a new room. New room smelled like the walls had been rubbed […] down with Italian combo grinders. Later in the weekend I mentioned the word soundproofing to the manager and his facial reaction was comparable to the look of confusion your dog gives you right after you audibly fart near him. The icing on the cake was the giant pile of penne a la vodka themed vomit that cascaded down the steps at the end of the hallway and managed to avoid the ever so industrious cleaning staff for the entire duration of our 2 night stay. "VERY UNFRIENDLY AND GREEDY! AVOID!!"
Extremely unfriendly owners and employees. Not satisfied at all and will definitely not return or recommend to anyone! They were out to squeeze every penny out of me however possible! "Stagnant...."
Upon entering our room we quickly realized it was hot and there was NO air movement at all. We called the front desk and we were told the system was automatic. We attempted to open the window but it only opened 3 inches. We barely got any sleep at all---it was awful. People were outside smoking, talking at 3:00 am.
