We drove to VT from NY for a ski weekend and stayed at North Star Lodge for one night (me, my husband and two sons.) It was a nice place to stay and... close to Killington ski area. We could see the ski slopes of Snowshed from our room window. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The room had a DVD player and cable TV. The bathroom was very clean and shampoos/soaps were provided. Coffee & tea were available in the lobby. The staff were nice and helpful. The outdoor heated pool was great and felt so good after skiing all day! And how cool is it to swim outdoors with snow all around the pool deck? The free shuttle bus to the ski area was a helpful bonus as was the free wi-fi access (it worked fine in our room). The hotel doesn't provide breakfast, but it is easy enough to bring along your own if you don't want to go out to a restaurant. by Thomas from Hudson Valley, NY on 01/17/11

Situated in Killington and offering easy access to winter activities like alpine skiing and downhill skiing, North Star Lodge and Resort is close to Pico Mountain at Killington Ski Resort and Killington Ski Resort. Other attractions in the area include Green Mountain National Golf Course.

Resort Features.
After a day on the slopes, enjoy a swim in the outdoor swimming pool or use the resort's other facilities, including a sauna and a 24-hour fitness facility. For a free ride to the slopes, hop on the mountain resort's complimentary ski shuttle. North Star Lodge and Resort helps provide the perfect ski vacation with ski storage and ski passes. When the sun goes down, sip après-ski drinks in the resort's bar.

Guests can enjoy a meal at the onsite restaurant. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. Onsite parking is complimentary.
