My wife and I stayed here while in town for a concert at the KFC Yum Center. It's just across the bridge and within walking distance. However, the hotel offers a free shuttle to the center that delivers you to the front door of the venue and picks you up across the street. I was happy with the hotel itself: cleanliness, comfort, and the room was very nice. Very satisfied with the bathroom/shower. We did have a slight issue checking in due to the fact they were showing no King bed rooms available, but after about 15 minutes they worked it out for us and got us in a room. "Sheraton Louisville Riverside Hotel"
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The host were very helpfull and delightfull. It was close to alot of attractions and resturants, most were within walking distance. The bathroom was a little small but I would definetly stay there again. WFGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfortable, clean, convenient"
We stayed for the Breeder's Cup weekend and the staff was very tuned in to the many people who were in town for the event. They delivered the next day's program at our door each overnight--no morning paper available though. Breakfast buffet available in the lobby, while convenient, was overpriced.
