"It's not what you see"
You'd think a new building would have sound proof walls. Not so here. We could hear normal conversation and snoring. So much for a pleasant stay. The front desk help; wasn't. My 10 year old niece has a better attitude and skills to help people check in!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not so great"
Beautiful hotel,very hard to find the check in,parking and room confusing. Room was awesome,very nicely decorated.The balcony door would not lock and there is no safe,which made us very uneasy.The thermostat is located in the living space so the bedroom boiled as the kitchen stayed a pleasant 68 degrees, we had to open the windows and there was a party […] above us until 4am. The TRAIN comes through town a few times a night and blows his horn,if your windows are open its loud.The floor registers hiss and pop every time they turn on.It made for a no sleep night for the entire family. Even in the summer this hotel is overpriced. The location is very close to the resort attractions but with no AC the rooms are very warm (the hotel suggests opening a window and using a fan which helps but only minimally). A hotel of this price range needs to offer AC since the airflow in a hotel room is quite poor with windows on one side and the hotel […] interior on the other side of the room. Additionally the spas were dirty and remained so throughout our stay. I realize we were staying at a winter resort in the summer but again for this price we paid we expected much, much more.
