"Surprisingly nice"
After reading previous reviews I was a bit concerned about our upcoming stay. It was the only reasonable available hotel due to the CMT music fest. Hotel was surprisingly nice and clean. The housekeeping staff sucked they did not replace the shampoo and conditioner. We had problems with the toilet in our room and we were offered drano to fix it ourselves. We stayed here for one night on our way to somewhere else. The room was clean and I could tell they've done some updating (I was expecting Ramada to be very dated). This hotel looked to be the best in the area, right off of the interstate in Lavergne. The hotel was typical and we had no complaints. What put this hotel above the rest was that the evening staff was wonderful. After about 15 minutes in our room, my husband and I noticed the smell of cigarette smoke even though our room and hallway was very clearly […] marked non-smoking. The location is probably not the most beautiful one in the area, but it is located near I-24 and easy to get around. Some fast food restaurants within walking distance, but not much more. "Don't go if you are a Non Smoker!"
The rooms were clean and the bedding was new. Nice upgrades. The hallway and common area carpet could use a good cleaning. Unbeknownst to us, they allow smoking in the rooms. When we called down to complain about the smoke (it fills your room when air kicks on) the night staff ask what she should do about it, knock on the doors? This hotel was conveniently located just off the highway about a 15-20 minute ride from Nashville. It was one of the few hotels available any where near Nashville during the CMA Summer Festival and so I was somewhat skeptical about what we'd find when we got there.
