"One of the nicest"
This is a very nice place to stay. The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of pillows, and the sheets were very clean (faint smell of bleach, which I consider a plus). "Decent Hotel, Pool Issues"
The hotel was fine, the location was what we wanted, our main issue was with the pool. We paid a bit more than we wanted for a room in a hotel that had a pool. We discovered upon arrival that this hotel actually had adult swim, 6-8 am and 10-11 pm, which was great, as the hotel was jam-packed with families who mostly let their children go down to the […] pool unattended. We waited until a little after ten the second night of our stay expecting some peace in the pool area. There were so many kids in the hot tub that there wouldn't have been room for us anyway, and another handful of kids in the pool. We should have complained to the hotel staff, but didn't really have the energy, so we went back to our room, hoping that the next day, Sunday, a lot of the families would check out and there'd be fewer kids in the pool. So we traipsed back down to the pool around 11:30 the next morning, and mercifully, there appeared to only be one family there. We decided to brave it and went to the door, where a sign was posted that pool maintenance was due to start at 11:30 and they were sorry. No time was listed for it's reopening. So, despite paying a little more for a hotel with a pool, we ended up not even being able to use the pool. We don't blame the staff for the needed maintenance, but it did color the hotel in our eyes, and if someone asked us about the hotel, we wouldn't recommended it if the pool is part of the reason they were booking it. Our stay at this location was above average but below excellent. I travelled with 3 teens for a concert event nearby. Rooms were very nice and larger than normal. Beds were very comfy, although blankets/comforters were very thin and lightweight. Room was clean and fresh.
