Awesome hotel! I will certainly use it again when my travels take me to LA. It is top notch in every respect: comfort, cleanliness, costomer service, hotel facilities, window views. Positioned right next to Universal Studio as indicated. We walked there and back but they do offer a free shuttle. Very cold evening and the heater did not work in the room. The staff here was excellent. We arrived one hour early and our room was ready without a problem. The staff showed great enthusiasm and was ready to help us with our questions and concerns. "Hilton Universal- Great Location for many sights"
Well, we booked this room for our 34th Anniversary and when we checked in, things started off a bit shaky. The room smelled so bad of cigarettes, yet it was a non-smoking room! Also the view was the roof of an ajoining building. We immediately called downstairs and asked for another room. At first we were told that if we could leave for a few hours […] the maid would come and use and industrial strength air cleaner! I nicely asked if they could please check for another room. He found one on the next floor up and said it was an upgrade. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and it had a decent view. We were so happy.
