Great service, comfortable rooms and very clean. TV reception wasn't very good if you watch a lot of tv while you are in a hotel, but I just had it on when I slept so no problems here. Fairly quiet too and we had a room very near the stairs. The air conditioner was very noisy and the room was very warm without it on which is why comfort is only 4 out […] of 5. I love the idea of a lounge and a restaurant inside the hotel and I hope to visit them next time. We did spend some time relaxing in the room and it was very pleasant. We will be back. Read more

I had a good time. The handicapped room I had (# 191) was hard to take a shower and keep the water in the shallow pan. The breakfast deal was really good and good value. The hotel seems laid out like a dogs breakfast, all over the place, constantly going in and out of buildings.

This is the first time I've stayed at the Red Lion and found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. They are located downtown which makes for easy walking or a short drive to restaurants. Rooms were comfortable and clean and met our needs. The only small downside is that there was a wedding on saturday and the pool was closed for 2 hours. There is […] another pool, but much smaller and in a more shady (buildings) area. A lot of hotels book weddings without telling hotel guests that amenities will be off limits. Friendly staff. Very quick to make us comfortable and accommodate our needs. Didn't eat there, though. The outdoor pool was well equipped with lounges.

I wasn't sure why the rates were different for what appeared, on line, to be similar rooms but as it turned out our room was more of an outside entrance motel style. The parking was tight and our room was noisy because of the location. Ear plugs took care of that and we actually had a good nights sleep. The hotel was clean, and staff was friendly. When we checked out, the clerk behind the counter said we did not have sign anything, that it was all done. However, when we returned home and checked out credit card account online, there was $80 worth of charges to our credit card that we did not do. My husband called them, and they took it off. The hotel was nice, the grounds were well kept and our room was quiet. The surrounding neighborhood was not somewhere you can walk your dog. Be careful and do not walk the neighborhood behind the hotel at night. Otherwise enjoy Yakima and and the downtown area.

What a little gem. This hotel reminds me of my childhood vacations. The pools are great-- rooms have little fridges and balconies for drinking coffee. There is even a nice work out room. I will be back for some sunshine and time with family. I really LOVED it and I am PICKY

Good location, only a few blocks from the freeway, right on the main drag next to the convention center. The one king size bed room was spacious, big desk and comfortable chair - the room looked and felt old but it was very clean. Large two sink bathroom with walk-in shower. Just one thing to gripe about. No microwave in the room, nor on the 2nd floor […] where I was. In fact, the only way to access a microwave was to find a staff member and give him/her your item and have them go into a room behind the kitchen to use it and bring your item back to you. The room was adequate. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. No restaurant on site except breakfast. They did serve dinner in the bar, but our underage kids couldn't eat there.
