Over all we were happy with our stay. Unfortunately, we requested at the time of booking for two rooms side by side or across the hall and were told this would be no problem. This was not the case when we arrived, and the hotel desk staff was unwilling to accomodate this request. I had my kids with me celebrating their birthday weekend. Teenagers, old enough to hear & know that someone was having very loud relations in the room above us. Called the front desk & was assured it would be handled. We had to endure the sounds. They never handled it & no one ever followed up. The room wasn't as roomy as I needed it to be. CLOSE TO SIX FLAGS , SHOPPING AND EATOUT PLACES. WE WERE TOLT THAT THE TYPE OF ROOM WE HAD WAS NICE AND ROOMY, IT WASNT ROOMY AT ALL. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND HAD A CLEAN SMELL TO IT, I CAN GIVE IT THAT. THE ROOM WE HAD, WELL, IT WAS REALLY HARD TO GET A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP, BEACUSE WE COULD HEAR PEOPLE TALKING, WALKING ACROSS THE FLOOR, GOING UP AND DOWN […] THE STAIRS. I liked this hotel for the fact that we had a large group and not many hotels offer a large enough space. I also like the separate living quarters, with a fridge and microwave. It, overall, was ok experience. We basically just needed somewhere to lay our heads at night. The family enjoyed the indoor pool.

Unfortunately, the room was quite filthy. We walked in and saw sunflower seeds, m&ms , cereal, and a dirty towel on the floor. The beds were made and the bathrooms did appear to be clean. However, upon further examination there were pubic hairs on the floor in the bathroom and later during our stay we found a roach in the sink. Quite disqusting. Although I called the toll free number to make reservations, I was continually told by the hotel staff that I booked using Expedia. This was the reason I was given for not receiving a bill upon checkout; I then had to call to have this faxed to me twice because the first bill was not tax exempt although I was assured this information was captured at […] check in. Although my room was clean, I saw the same items laying on the floor in the halls throughout my stay, which does not leave me with the impression that cleanliness is a top priority in this facility. When we arrived at the hotel, I was a bit suprised about how small it was. Everything appeared to be clean but I could tell it was an older built hotel. We probly could have saved a little money if we went to a motel 6 or super 8 for the same quality.

This hotel is the "low budget" marriott quality. The room was a nice size for 4 people. The beds were double beds instead of queen sized beds. The beds were not very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is nothing to write home about but edible. Overall would stay again if on a tight budget. The staff was great.
