Even thought the booking didn't go through correctly, the hotel went out of their way to get us the room we needed. We were supposed to have two doubles and a sofa bed, but somehow the booking only said two double beds. So they moved us to a larger room and brought us a very comfortable cot. Our room was solid...quiet/A/C worked a treat...clean/fresh/every electrical thingie worked...water pressure excellent. The staff was friendly/the breakfast buffet all one could want. Not disappointed in any sense of the word and considering it was Little League Week, wow, Best Western was perfect for a tired traveler...

The hotel was gross and we told the front desk after checking in and they did nothing to fix that. There was a dirty washcloth in hte shower and the room had not been vacuumed.

We stayed overnight after attending a wedding. We only live 1.5 hours away. Our room was updated and clean. Our room did have that heavy "Pinesol" odor that others have commented on in reviews, but not in a bad way since the room was very clean. The breakfast room was large and lovely. When we checked in we literally thought we were at the wrong hotel. The entire hotel was filled with contractors and dozens of their white pick up trucks with the label "Clean harbours." Best Western rented the entire hotel to construction workers and then thought it would be a good idea to "welcome" my two children ages 10 and 11 in as guests as well. […] I contacted "Customer care" at Best Western and spoke with Shuana. She assured me this was common practice at Best Western. I then assured her I would never in my life ever book a stay at a Best Western ever again with my wife and two small children. I asked her "Would you allow your own children to walk the grounds of a "hotel" where there is nothing other then men drinking beer. No families, no tourists, no children - except for mine I might add... Would anyone expect their daughter to sit by the pool?? Walk around on her own? Don't ever trust Best Western again with your vacations. If you think I am making any of this up call thier customer care department and verify everything I just wrote. I even took pictures and emailed them to Best Western to prove what happened. Again I was told this is totally ok with them. NO apologies... just that I am to expect this anytime I book with them. I can assure you never again in my life will I even consider Best Western anywhere as you only find out what they've done when you check-in and by then it is too late to switch hotels. Stay Away!! One problem is that my room was located out front, relatively close to parking and TGIF's. I was staying on a Saturday night, and there were partiers hanging out by the front of the hotel into the wee hours of the night and morning, and it made it difficult for me to sleep.

We understood the exterior renovations, so I won't address that mess; however, the room was filthy and had a hole in the wall, the previous guests' toothpaste spit was on the faucet, none of guest services or wake-up call buttons worked (and no one answered the front desk to place a wake-up call), the carpet was dirty, the bed had a dip in it and the […] sidewalks interior to the property (it is a MOTEL, not a HOTEL) were covered in grime, old bubble gum, spilled drinks, etc. This is not a place you want to stay. the two rooms I reserved were supposed to be connecting and they were not and the hotel would not accomodate me. Our toilet would not flush, my husband fixed it three times then became tired of fixing it. There were wires hanging down over the entrance to the one room. Brought my young son to see the Little League World Series. Was put in a room that was literally falling apart. The pool was filthy that we couldnt even swim in it. The nice manager said that we could use the hotel pool next door though. That night there were workers (who apparently LIVE at the hotel) who were drinking and cursing and were loud and […] noisy. The Best Western has a lot of nerve putting a mom and her little boy in a room next to those animals. They did switch the room for the next night. This was a family trip to Williamsport, PA for a wedding. The hotel was undergoing major renovations. The common areas (stairs, sidewalks, covered areas were filthy.
