A nice hotel with an interesting "train" theme, but a bit hard to get to by public transit from the actual train station (requires a bus, transfer to another bus, and then transfer to a third bus which runs rather infrequently). There is nothing of interest near the hotel which is in an office park area of the city. It was a short cab ride ( about $10) […] to the train station from the hotel. Hey, it worked and was central to where we needed to. Our reservations were messed up but they made it right. Staff was courteous and helpful although it was clear that coordination was lacking.

Hotel was extremely outdated. Bathroom fixtures (hinges, towel hook, etc) were badly rusted. Toilet seat was broken. Bed sheets were stained but hopefully clean. Closet doors were broken. Hotel room door was difficult to close. Vending machines were not convienently located and clearly from the 90's. Room was a smoking room which we were unaware of […] when booking the room. Luckily the room did not smell as if it was a smoking room. The hotel staff was exceptional! Girl at front desk was extremely helpful. Ruth, who ran the breakfast, was very nice and hard working to keep the place spotless and well stocked. There are very, very few restaurants located near this hotel. If you are needing anything to eat or to make a convience store run you will be driving a few miles to get there. Read more

This hotel was decent. I was in town visitng my brother, who works at Midway Stadium. I did not like how the rooms didn't have their own air conditioner... There was only a thermastat. It didn't make the room cool enough when we were trying to sleep. Also, housekeeping forgot to replace the tissues two days in a row. The breakfast was not terrible but […] not good either. The oatmeal tasted like paste and everything else was just so so. Additiontally, the breakfast ends at 9:30 sharp so if you want breakfast make sure you're there way before then. Read more

Were very pleased with hotel and service after spending 12 hours on train trip from Michigan. Arrived just before 11pm and room was ready and waiting for 2 tired travelers. Breakfast and hottub the next morning were what the doctor ordered for the start of a great weekend visit with our family in Minneapolis.

When I booked our room I book 2 queen beds, when I checked in they said we have you in a room with 1 king bed. I told them what my confirmation said and that we had two adults and two children so we needed two beds. They made the change. The staff was not overly excited to help anyone and seemed bothered when we had to ask for towels to go swimming […] with. When we were bringing our bags in we did not know where the stairs were so we asked an employee. Unfortunately he was non english speaking so we were not sure what he was telling us. Staff did not mention anything about having to use key card to get into building, nothing about the breakfast, no recommendation about area sites. We asked a desk person how to get to the train museum, he told us to take the skyway, so we did...the skyway is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Doesn't he know that?????? Also, this hotel does not have an elevator so if you don't want to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs request a first floor room or stay somewhere else. The only positive about the hotel is the quiet, convenient location. Definately not worth the money!! Read more

Mycket dålig frukost!! i beskrivningen stod det Continental frukost men dom severade typ våffla, ägg, marmelad,jordnötssmör, 3 sort flingor och havregröt. fanns ingen middag att köpa, man fick beställa från olika pizzabud m.m med framkörning.
