We were very happy with our stay here at this hotel. It was within walking distance to most attractions downtown. The area was safe. The breakfast that was included with the room rate was great. "Embassy Suites Downtown Houston"
The hotel is brand new...pretty nice place. The staff was great. The rooms were a lil "small" for suites but hey were are in Downtown. The location is primo...close to everything. My wife and I live in Houston and we love doing nice hotels as a mini vacation...so the pool is important. The pool area was week appointed by cramped. The could have done […] a better job with that but it was nice. The problem we had was the lack of hotel management at the pool. There ther tons of brat kids that their parents were letting run wild. Come on peps keep ur kids in check! The hotel should have had someone come by ever so often to take care of this. Parents were even letting their kids (more that one) throw tennis balls against the side of the hotel and land in the pool...geez. Hey Embassy Suites! Get someone up there before there is an accident. Well long story short we left and went across the street to The Four Seasons pool...that was the way it should be...HIGHLY recommended.
