"Just Right"
We needed a place near Reliant Stadium for the Texans/Titans game on 9/30. This is a great location if you plan on attending an event there, as you can enter the parking areas from the north with far less traffic than coming off of loop 610. Only complaint was beds were tiny. To be fair, they are listed as doubles, but I'm thinking they were no more […] than a full sized mattress. The hotel was very nice and simple to locate using GPS technology. Location was very close to our recreational activity (Houston Astros ball game). Room was very clean and comfortable and free breakfast was very good. The only thing I didn't care for was the tiny square pillows on the beds but the beds were confortable. "Close to Hermann Park"
This location, although not very scenic, was close to Hermann Park and that's why we chose it. The room was so-so ... the mini-fridge was not working, and the bathroom was just weird: The sink must have been built for a GIANT. Seriously, the sink counter was almost to my chest, and I am 5'6. I haven't had to brush my teeth on tiptoes since I was 3. […] However, the complimentary breakfast was THE BEST we have ever had at a hotel. Hot, fresh and plentiful. A variety of juices, muffins, bagels, waffles, eggs and ham. Yum! I would stay there again just for the breakfast. But I will ask for a step-stool for the bathroom sink. "Very Happy"
The hotel is a great value for the price. Bed was extremely comfortable and clean. Sheets were high grade as were the towels. In fact, the towels were MUCH softer than in most hotels for twice the money. The staff was helpful and courteous and strangely the guests were all very friendly as well. The breakfast buffet is nice. A wide selection of cereals, […] pastries, breads. Also offered bacon and a western omelett and belguim waffles. All very hot and fresh.
