A nice Hotel that is very clean with a friendly staff. Only problem was the shower. I could not get the shower to turn on so I went downstairs to complain. The front desk said you need to pull the handle very hard for it to work. I went back upstairs and pulled the knob out of the wall. When leaving I went back to the front desk to warn them to fix […] the shower before the next guest arrives. There only comment was they were sorry for the problem. I did not get the room I asked for and it ruined the stay. I left as quickly as I could after my work was finished because the room was NOT what I booked in reservations, nor what I confirmed it would be with the check in at the desk.

I stayed here because I was travelling on business and the price was right. Also, I wanted to be feel safe because I was travelling alone. I definitely did feel safe here and overall this place is adequate but nothing special. It was reasonably priced but it is a Hilton so drinks and food are fairly pricey and there are no freebies. My one real complaint […] is that this property isn't quite maintained at the level I think a Hilton should be. The decor was odd and dated (space theme) and it wasn't as clean as I would've expected. The bathroom of the first room they assigned me to was stinky-like mildew or bacteria that hadn't been cleaned and ventilated properly. The second room (I asked for a new one) was much better but there was still a slight odor. I expect pristine from a hotel like Hilton (or Hyatt or Marriott, etc..). Probably wouldn't stay here again. The room was smelly. The sheets were not cleaned. No free wifi. No free breakfast. Just not what I expected from the Hilton.

The hotel is clean and beautiful. Guest room very comfortable. Breakfast buffet great, and servers were exceptional. Front desk staff very helpful and I liked the little store next to the reception desk. Elevator went out on Sunday morning, but staff handled situation well.

can't rave about this hotel, enough! They were kind enough to give me a room early because I had come into town earlier than expected and the staff could not do enough to insure a great experience! Everyone from maintenance staff to managers were pleasant, helpful and mindful that I was a guest of the establishment. bravo to their customer service orientation. […] It's been a long time since I've stayed at a hotel with this much attention to the client. What a surprise!! They have a fabulous and free business center, a marvelous workout facility and good room service. The bar is cozy and the food is good and reasonable. Loved being there! Houston but the Hilton at Clearlake makes it bearable thanks to the helpful and kind staff ! Check out the Mom-alone Mexican grill - in addition to regular mexican food - they have killer grilled pork chops. The Akimi sushi place just down the road from the hotel is great ....all kinds of asian food + quick + in expensive + and excellent service.

This is a high rise hotel overlooking Clear Lake. The building is older, and recently remodeled, but without much attention to detail (e.g. the new wallpaper was already drooping from the walls). Clean and safe. Nice neighborhood. Great views. A running trail from the hotel goes along the side of the lake, sandwiched between the lake and a major roadway. […] Jet ski rentals looked fun. Very close to NASA. 30-minutes from downtown Houston. A reasonable alternative to Galveston Island in the summertime to escape Galveston's costly rates (30-minutes away). Read more
