"Next door to Reliant Center"
Our stay was great. The only downfall.......while we were there Houston experienced a strong storm which I understand now dropped 1 1/2 inches of rain in 7 minutes. During this time, I assume the hotel has sattelite and we didn't have any TV during the storm and there were a lot of water leaks in the hotel. We had a nice stay at this hotel. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. We had an issue wit the tub not draining properly, I called the front desk, they were very helpful. Maintenance was to the room in about 10 minutes and the issue was resolved about 5 minutes after they got to the room. The front desk then called to make sure everything else […] was satisfactory with the room. Stayed here while being an exhibitor at a show at the Reliant Stadium, couldn't be any closer! Can walk out back of hotel and to the stadium, saving money on parking. Stayed here for the Meineke Car Care Bowl. Walking distance to Reliant which was very convenient. With so many people there for the game, the staff did the best they could but line to check in was long and they were not prepared in the bar area at all. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Reliant Park to see a Texan's game at Reliant Stadium which is about 3 blocks away. Glad I did considering there is free parking for guests. Just a quick walk and your right in the stadium. Other positives were free internet and a breakfast buffet that was only $2 extra for 2 people. We got a great deal on this room through Expedia on a last minute decision to travel a day early. I was going to the Packer game at Reliant and this hotel was super convenient. I did however, think that the attitude of the morning counter clerk could have been better. I was told one thing by the overnight clerk, but I can only assume it was wrong.
