The staff was all very nice, and the restaurant had a good selection of good food. Only negatives - Our room was next to the stairway, so we could hear... the stairway door slamming shut starting about 6:30 every morning. Also, it looks like the hotel lobby was completely remodeled, but they must have run out of money before remodeling the rooms. The bathroom, especially, could use a major upgrade. As soon as I pulled to the entrance I thought I was going to be in a great room. I walked into my room and was pleased with the view from the balcony. The hotel physical plant was fine. Room service was dreadful. Service was awful. They were slow, sloppy, and rude. When they didn't want to assist, they'd lie to their managers. All in all, avoid.

The first issue was the poor house keeping: There was a hand towel left wadded up on the floor under the bathroom vanity. The Kleenex box had a tightly wadded up ball of tissues stuck in the opening. When I picked it out, the box was empty. The bathroom floor was spotted and needed mopping. The shower soap dish was old and dingy looking. The carpet […] was old throughout the building too. But what really got me was the room got hot, and the air conditioner was loud. It took all night to cool off, and that was when I finally turned it down to 54 degree. This trip was just a night out with my kids to get out of the house and be near the Galleria. But at 2:00 a.m. we almost decided to pack up and go home. But we stuck it out. I would give it more than a 5 if possible. I thought that the hotel was great for the money. The customer service was amazing. The shuttle service was so very useful and the driver that I had the majority of the time (other than on one occasion) was great. The hotel restaurant was good and very affordable. I have no complaints.

I spent one night there for a wedding. The room was quite large. Bathroom was clean and a nice size also. Parking in the garage was easy- I self-parked and did not use valet. Don't spend the extra $10 for valet unless you have tons of luggage that doesn't roll. It took about 2 minutes to park and find the elevator.

After a colleague forgot copies needed for a meeting at home, the front desk staff spent more than a half-hour copying and collating another set. A huge help!

Carpet was outdated in the room that was initially alloted had a funky smell. Good service by the receptionist.They gave a different room on the floor we wanted. Also, the bath tub was old with cracks on the corner. The hotel is at nice location. The hotel entrance and the lobby is very nice and welcoming.

bath doesnt work properly. water doesnt drain. first day we call the service desk. they send plumper. he couldnt fix it. i start thinking if cleaned the room after check out previous customer, they would have know the bath doesnt work properly. i think they didnt clean the room. at least the bath.

My family and I checked in late on Friday night. After a fun but tiring evening at an Astros game, we got into bed. In horror, I noticed that there was dried blood on the sheets on my bed. For the price and location this hotel worked for me. I just wanted a decent place to stay for one night while I was in town. However if u are looking for a place to relax that's quiet then this is not the spot. If I had not have gotten a great deal I would have been upset.
