"Needs an update"
Hotel was certainly in a great location and was clean - however it needs an update to decor and facilities - which it seems is about to start. At least they know what they need to improve.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Never fear, updates appear to be on the way...."
Hilton Post Oak is in need of an update. There was a large poster board in the lobby with some of the materials for a freshening of the lobby. That said, the room was clean and comfortable but not quiet. There were a series of events going on and other guests were pretty loud. I used my hotels.com rewards points to pay for my stay and I got an oddly […] shaped room on a low floor. I should be guaranteed a room with all the specifications i set when i book with hotels.com. Maybe the rewards program isn't all that after all. In room wifi was $10.95 a day but free in the lobby. Who's still charging for wifi? Ok, who's still charging more than $5 a day for wifi? Great location! Just treat people right. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Had higher expectations..."
When we pulled up half the sign from the building was broken off exposing the wood underneath, lobby had a lot of stains...not a good 1st impression. Bed felt very worn out,not very much space on balcony. It just wasn't as luxurious as i thought it would be for a Hilton. Staff was very friendly, great location to the galleria,a bit over priced for what […] you end up getting. Probably wouldn't stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

As soon as I pulled to the entrance I thought I was going to be in a great room. I walked into my room and was pleased with the view from the balcony. Then I looked around the room and wasn't all that impressed. The bed wasn't all that comfortable and had this squeaky frame. The shower head would not stay in place and had little water pressure. The […] lighting wasn't so good either. This hotel just needs a bit of an upgrade to the rooms so the customers will feel they got what they paid for. I will say their staff was really nice and the breakfast was really good... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The stay was great, but bathroom wasn't clean; bathtub especially.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Post Oak is just OK"
Carpet was outdated in the room that was initially alloted had a funky smell. Good service by the receptionist. They gave a different room on the floor we wanted. Also, the bath tub was old with cracks on the corner. The hotel is at nice location. The hotel entrance and the lobby is very nice and welcoming.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Good location but overall just Ok."
For the price and location this hotel worked for me. I just wanted a decent place to stay for one night while I was in town. However if u are looking for a place to relax that's quiet then this is not the spot. If I had not have gotten a great deal I would have been upset. The comments others made about you being able to hear everything in the hallway […] is ABSOLUTELY true. At one point in time I ran out the restroom b/c it sounded like someone was in my room but it was just some folks walking by. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"GOOD TO SLEEP....ONLY"
IT WAS AN EXPERIENCE. TO SAY THE LEAST...i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANY FRIENDS. THE ROOMS WERE NOT READY. THE PARKING WAS HORRIBLE. THERE ARE NO AMENITIES TO THIS HOTEL. GET AN APPLE ATHE FRON COUNTER AND BE ON YOUR WAY....Genuine Expedia guest review
"wifi"
I was very pleased with everything about this hotel other than the parking wasn't all that great adn the wifi wasn't free. I think it was pretty rediculous to have to pay for wifi at a business hotel. And there was a prom event in our hotel that night and we were not ever told about that and wouldve appreciated a little heads up.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place, not overly impressed"
Very nice, good service, but the bathroom is out-dated. What's with the paid parking, It's not NY City..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the bed was very uncomfortable; we both sank in the middle of the bed. did not sleep well at all. I was just glad that we spent only one night. The traffic around the area was horrendous, just bad location. Another thing also there was no internet access in the room. I thought that when I made the reservation there was Wi-fi access but did not specify […] it was only in the lobby. We could not even use our laptop in the room and we were told by the front desk that internet access is located in the lobby. We were not happy about that since we've stayed at other hotels much cheaper than the Hilton and all provided free internet access in the rooms. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not up to the price."
The hotel is over priced. I realize it's in the expensive part of town but it is dated. The tub didn't drain well at all. They charge a lot to hook up your computer to wifi. The valet parking was way overpriced and they charge you $14 a day to park yourself. The room could have used a chair/lounge for relaxing and reading. The staff was very nice […] . "marginally ok for the price"
the hotel is close to galleria, it is a good point, in general the hotel is OK but other than the big infrastructure probably useful if you are planning an event, i have stayed in better rooms in cheaper hotels near the same area. the carpets are definitively not new, they don't have free parking, so in addition to whatever you have to pay for the room, […] expect to pay 15 additional bucks per day, for you r car. There are plenty of other options in the area in terms of lodging. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Needs maintenance"
I have stayed in many Hiltons. This one in the Houston Galleria area is below average. Many features in the hotel have been recently updated to the new Hilton style, but there were a disturbing number of maintenance items, so there was a mix of brand new and old and worn. The lobby carpet was very worn and stained. I took enough trips in the elevator […] with an abandoned luggage cart that I finally hauled it out to the valet station myself. The room privacy lock was very loose, with the screws almost falling out. There were quite a few marks on the room walls and the thin outer window curtains were shredded. The maid forgot to give us washclothes, and the bathroom mirror light was burned out. The parking gate in the garage will come down on your car if you are following another car too closely. We had a late checkout, but the maid was a real pest of checking every half hour whether we were gone. The rest of the staff was extremely helpful - parking garage, front desk, gift shop, etc. Hilton has other brands near the Galleria that are better choices. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"What a disappointment..."
This hotel was such a disappointment! The room was very BORING and had no personality at all. I have stayed at this property before when it was a Doubletree and think it honestly was nicer then! I was really expecting for the room to be very plush and cozy as the rooms are large but instead the room felt very EMPTY! Furniture was cheap looking and just […] not up to the quality another hotel down the street is for a a lower price. These rooms need some work!! As for the service...never even saw anyone after checking in that spoke to me except the Valet, no doorman, no greeter, nothing...not 4 star quality service either. I will not stay at this property again...nothing special at all. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hilton Post Oak - Houston TX"
Two of the four elevators were inoperable the entire weekend. To make matters worse, there was a beauty pageant on the same weekend I visited, and the girls held the elevators captive! We were unable to use the staris because of the alarm.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok"
The hotel was ok. However, when I stay in a "nice" hotel an amenity I expect is wifi. $12.00 a day extra for this service which should be an included amenity is not what I expect. I travel a lot. If Comfort Inn can provide it as an amenity, I expect that of a Hilton. The location is excellent.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Bom, mas pra quem ta disposto a gastar..."
Excelente estrutura, mas pra so te oferecem isto... O restante vc paga e caro.
