Though the quality of service was fine, the hotel room condition was awful. We were forced to purchase cleaning solvents due to the mold and mildew in the bathroom. The facility had a nice food court type cafeteria and the decorations were cute, but the room was uncomfortable and tiny. "Moldy Shower Curtain"
Among numerous other "small" problems such as a strobe-like bathroom light, missing safe key, and malfuctioning tv set, we discovered upon checking in that our shower curtain liner was covered in mold. We notified the front desk immediately...it took them THREE DAYS to fix and was only done after repeated calls and finally demanding to see the property […] manager. "Disney lost it's magic for a frequent guest"
As a very frequent Disney traveler, this trip was disappointing. The cleanliness, and general Disney spirit is gone. I have stayed at almost all of the on ground resorts, this time retuning after 3years. The resort was well worn showing it's age, and the cheerful staff was not so cheerful. The lowest point being housekeeping calling on a dialy basis […] to ask if we really wanted the Do Not Disturb sign up Each time waking our sleeping toddler. I do not think Walt Disney envisioned parents having to watch out for their children eating chewed candy and gum on the sidewalk, or dirty washrags on the walkways for over ten hours before being picked up. This was supposed to be a Disney vacation NOT the Wisconsin Dells....And no, the staff really was not too interested in helping solve any of the issues we brought up. All previous requests including a first floor room near the transportation, due to a mobility problem, were ignored. A king bed could not be accommodated, and a crib had to be requested three times.
