Disney's All-Star Music Resort is in the Walt Disney World® Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Wide World of Sports, Walt Disney World®, and ChampionsGate Golf Club are area attractions.
Hotel Features.
This family-friendly resort is close to the 2 other Disney's All-Star Resorts, and is 1 mile from Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, 2 miles from Disney's Hollywood Studios™, and 3 miles from Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Resort guests can take advantage of complimentary theme park shuttle transportation throughout the resort.
This resort features 4 music-themed sections. Guests can swim in 3 heated outdoor pools, including a children's pool. A playground and arcade with video and pinball games are on site. A food court with 6 stations offers casual dining options. An open-air bar serves snacks and refreshments. Pizza delivery service to guestrooms is available.
Additional amenities include a concierge desk, and laundry facilities. The property has designated areas for smoking (fines may apply for smoking in non-smoking areas).
Guests of this resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express service. Motor coaches pick up guests at Orlando International Airport and drop off at Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels. Disney staff members pick up bags and deliver them straight to guestrooms (for arrivals between 5 AM and 10 PM). Guests arriving outside of these hours should pick up their baggage at baggage claim to carry with them on the motor coach.

This resort features 1,818 guestrooms located in 10 low-rise buildings with exterior corridors, arrayed around 2 pool areas. Guestroom buildings offer easy access to the main building, which houses the lobby and food court. Amenities featured in guestrooms include air conditioning, televisions, and clock radios. Business-friendly amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access and phones with voice mail. Bathrooms provide hair dryers and complimentary toiletries. All guestrooms are non-smoking.

"Good location for a low price"
Usually one of the lowest rates available for a Disney resort. Staying on location at Disney is great. You get the convenience of buses to get to the parks (or free parking at the parks if you want to drive instead). Also, if you buy things at the shops in the parks they will send it to your hotel for you so you don't have to lug it around all day or […] on the bus. The room itself was ok, but nothing really special. There were several items that were annoying, such as a water leak around the shower head in the bathroom that caused water to drip on the floor during a shower, lights in the bathroom and vanity area that flickered and were dim, drawers that didn't close properly in the dresser. These are minor things, but not what we've come to expect from Disney's usually very high standard of quality. The common areas were nice. There was one larger pool and one smaller one, and there were plenty of chairs during the day for lounging around. Check-in and out was a breeze with friendly, helpful staff. Overall, we found the hotel to be very family friendly, and that is the majority of the guests we saw - families with kids, along with large school groups of kids (middle and high school). "Horrible Beds"

"Very Close to Parks"

Other than our a/c and refridgerator not working well, everything was good. The bed was comfy and even though there was a marching band and a choir (aka a bunch of teenagers) staying in the same building, we didn't hear much of them. inexpensive .hotel on disney property, very clean. pool was warm as we stayed on a cool day in march. breakfast was average price for amount of food. we loved the mickey waffles. will definitely stay again. the only thing that didn't work out was our booked room request. "Great Hotel for the money ..."
The stay was great for my vacation with my son who is 4 but if it was a family of 4, there wouldn't have been enough space to sneeze in. The room was clean, in terms of towels and bathroom but the carpet could have been cleaned. "A great deal to stay on-property"
We've stayed at the All-Star Music twice now and both times have been more than satisfied with our experience. The desk staff is helpful and courteous, it's convenient to have a food court on-site (though it's more expensive than staying off-property and getting fast food somewhere, it is included in the Disney Dining Plan so that's a plus), and the […] room is comfortable. They have increased the number of buses going to the resort since the last time we stayed (2010), which was a pleasant surprise. As one of Disney's "value' resorts, it's shorter on amenities (like lotion, laundry bag, etc.) and room size but it really delivers on convenience and the things kids care about, like a huge pool. I was impressed that there were 3 lifeguards monitoring the pool on a chilly night when there were only a handful of hardy kids swimming. "Good for first timer at Disney World"
Our first trip to Disney World and wasn't sure where to stay so we decided to make a safe choice and stay at one of the Disney All Star hotels (Music). The hotel room is fairly typical, a bit on the smaller side than most. Definitely showing its age and not a lot of amenities. It had a small refrigerator which was good for fresh fruit and cold drinks […] but no in room coffee maker for heating up water. Beds were a bit uncomfortable for us; a little too soft. Room service did a good job and there were two swimming pools. We didn't use the hotel service, cafeteria or store so we can't speak to those. The amenities were great, for a low budget resort. The hotel grounds were not as clean as I have seen in the past. The beds were uncomfortable, and we woke with stiff necks. The bathroom had visible hair all over the floor. They no longer provide toiletries, except for shampoo and a small bar of soap.
