The Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel - Downtown Disney is located in the Walt Disney World Resorts and within walking distance to Downtown Disney. The resort is less than two miles from Cirque du Soleil, five miles from SeaWorld and six miles from Epcot Center. This Orlando-area resort features continuous complimentary shuttle service to all Disney theme parks.

Microwave ovens and refrigerators are available upon request for a fee.

Trader's Island Grill - A tropical restaurant with ceiling fans, pastel colors, and island music. Buffet breakfast includes “make your own” Mickey Mouse waffles and cooked-to-order omelette station. Open for breakfast and dinner.
Parakeet Café - This casual restaurant serves sandwiches, snacks, fresh fruit, coffee, and Pizza Hut pizza. Computers with high-speed Internet access (surcharge) are available. Open from early morning until late morning and late afternoon until late evening.
Flamingo Cove - This lounge offers indoor and outdoor seating and poolside service. Cocktails, beer, wine, soft drinks, and light fare such as sandwiches and salads. Open from late morning until late evening.
Overlooking a wooded preserve, the hotel's sundeck houses a splash pool and children's pool. Guests also enjoy a video arcade (surcharge) and fitness room with stationary bikes, a stair machine, treadmill, strength-training equipment, and free weights.
One half-mile away, the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course offers an 18-hole course and driving range. Three miles away, fishing excursions, watercraft, and bicycle rentals are available along Disney's BoardWalk Resort.

"Wonderful time"
We had a wonderful time staying at this resort. We've stayed at all the "Disney" resorts through the years...we tried this one on a whim...and it was wonderful! "Mediocre rooms in a great location"
The location of this hotel is great -- close to a million restaurants, stores, right on Disney's doorstep and not too far from Universal. If you're completely new to the area, I imagine that alone would make this hotel worth it. But I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the room. Considering how much we paid and the fact that the hotel is on […] Disney property, I was expecting something more luxurious. Instead, the rooms are highly mediocre. The mattress and headboard are nice looking, but you can tell everything else is old. The bathroom door doesn't have a lock, the tub drains didn't drain, and don't expect to get "Bath & Body Works" products, either. There's also a space where you can see they would normally put a fridge and micro, but you won't get one unless you want to pay $30 for it! The guy at the front desk was kind of a snob about it, too. The only real bonus the rooms have is the balcony, which is great if you're a smoker. My hunch, though, is that you can probably find nicer hotels for less elsewhere. "It was okay"
The hotel did not offer coffee in lobby. The faucet dripped in tub the whole time. The toilet did not flush well. There were no fridge and micro in room. The staff was not very friendly. We stay at this hotel whenever we visit Walt Disney World in Orlando Fl. It is very convient and offers transportation to all the parks. Everyone at this hotel goes out of their way to make your visit very satisfying. The front desk people are very efficient, polite and helpful. The outside balcony's provide you with private viewing and plenty of fresh […] air. The dining room provides one of the best breakfast buffets and pizza to go and evening dining that you could ask for and at very reasonable prices compared to the parks.
