"6/6-6/9 Stay"
Traveled with 2-13 year old girls. Room was plenty big and comfortable for all three of us. Annoyed with the service charge for bottled water and internet? Overall, we loved the hotel. Great proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We enjoyed walking to the Boardwalk each evening. The pool was also enjoyed by our party.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Did not know the Dolphon was not considered a Disney Hotel even tho the title says Walt Disney World Dolphin. Could not use our visa reward Dollars to pay for room. Disappointing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent central location for WDW"
Hotel is very nice - pool is a bit of a walk, but very nice was you are there. Took our own car - very easy to reach all Disney attractions from here.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, good price!"
This hotel has a great location and I less expensive then the surrounding hotels. It provides everything you expect from a Disney hotel. We've stayed there before and will stay again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Except from small beds in the room, everything was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awesome"
We only stayed one night but it was great. The location was perfect and hotel was very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hall ways were dirty. Room and bathroom was dirty. Bathroom was so small two people could not be in there at the same time! Pools and hot tubs were very nice!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice but not worth all the money"
hotel was not clean at all although the beds were comfortable the linens were nasty, stains of all sorts of colors.. The bath tub was nasty when taking a shower you could see the grim coming off the bottom of the tub...we didnt even drink the coffee that was to be free we were affraid of being charged for that also alot of hidden fees i mean 15 dollars […] to park come on how crazy is that plus it a long walk to get to your room if you self park., the walls super paper thin could hear everything next door...the next time i visit ill be going to the value resort i had a better experience there and it was much cleaner.. plus the other resorts are disney themed this resort is not.. not even a bar of mickey mouse soap... "nice hotel - but did not meet expectations"
This was a nice hotel but not any better than any of the Disney value resorts which are much more reasonably priced. Paid a $17 per night charge for high speed internet which was really slow so we used our 4G phones instead, was also to receive 2 bottles of water per day with this fee, only received for 1 day, and free use of the fitness room was included. […] Also charged a $15/daily fee for parking. The location was okay if you are going to Epcot (15 min walk or 25 min boat ride) other than that no major bonus. Took a while to check out since only one person at the desk. Would not stay here again unless the rooms were at comparable rates with the Disney resorts. This IS NOT a Disney Resort Hotel, it is run by Sheraton Hotels. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Do not spend the money - not a must"
we have been going to Orlando every year , the first time we sleep on Disney resort , and it is not a must ! The price is way to much and you can get same if not better out side .If you have kids there are better hotels with better slides and pools then this and because it is so big , it is a long walk to where you are going .The hotel is clean and […] good service but once again not a must, spend the money on other stuff and sleep out side of Disney Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pleasant Stay"
We enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin Hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel because of the easy boat commute to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The only negative thing I have to say is that the hallways and elevators stunk. Other than that, we had a blast and would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Amazing!"
I've stayed at the Dolphin twice and I absolutely love it! Friendly staff, very clean and awesome location! I was able to watch Illuminations firework show at Epcot from my window! So much to do at the hotel itself and mini-golf and boardwalk are in walking distance! Definitely will be booking again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Pros: Very good service, great location. Cons: small, dated rooms in a very large hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Clean but not maintained."
The room was clean and the hotel is very nice. Our rooms refrigerator was broken so we had to throw out my sons milk. Went to bed and woke up freezing. Attempted to turn off the AC but it kept blowing cold air even after the thermostat read off (blew cold all night, not just the fan winding down). Other than those two issues that made our stay less […] comfortable, the rooms were nice and the location is excellent. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fabulous feel the magic !!"
I was very satisfied with my stay at the dolphin hotel and the deal offered by hotel.com Wow !Genuine Hotels.com guest review
A very nice facility but found out that the Dolphin must be on the end of the bus route as we waited nearly an hour to get transport to the Magic Kingdom.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great family resort with wonderful staff"
Great stay. Much better than expected. We usually stay in higher end properties and were a bit worried. The staff all over the resort are wonderful. The restaurants are great. Kids enjoyed the arcade and 5 pools. Only a 10 minute bus ride to Disney parks. Very easy and better than driving. SAVE your money and stay here versus Floridian and Polynesian. […] You will spend a lot of extra money and never be in your room. It isn't worth it. I would rather have the extra money for restaurants and gifts for the kids. Location is unbeatable. Room was run-down, old, not-maintained. When I phoned the front desk/operator, took several minutes for them to pick up. Again, location was perfect but room was no better than a cheap motel room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel Room Service Nice"
Everything with the room was nice, love the transportation to the parks. We ordered room service for the morning so we could get to park early and it was right on time. For the price we paid I was expecting a better view though. What we paid for the weekend for a view of the roof did not equal out. Everything was great except for that and the amount […] of time you are in the room it is not a huge deal breaker. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Will not be back."
To be brief: Pros: Nice location, very convenient to Disney Parks. Very nice pools. Lots of nice (but expensive) dining options. Cons: Long wait at check-in. When went up to room, initially hit with smell. Toilet clogged with toilet paper and smelly brown stuff (Hotels.com won't let me get more explicit, but its a toilet, you can figure out what this […] is) that had overflowed onto floor. Long story short, Hotel's attitude was "well, this sort of thing happens". REALLY?? If it is that commonplace, maybe you have an issue with either your cleaning staff or your security. At any rate, did get a different room (no other compensation, no real attempt at apology, just another small, well-worn room). Oh, and second room had broken climate control, which Guest Services was unable to resolve...so we had to tolerate a very cold room for our one night there. Service staff needs some serious retraining..definitely NOT up to Disney standards, and we have stayed at "real" Disney resorts, which this one is obviously not. If I had so much as a sincere apology, it might be different, but as it is, will avoid this place like the plague, and advise anyone I know to do the same...even without the problems I had, you can do better. Rooms are smallish, and not that nice for the price you pay. Oh, and they charge for parking, for internet, for pretty much everything. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Place To Stay, Not Official Disney Though"
The Disney World Dolphin hotel is actually a Starwood hotel, which for some can be great. You still get a lot of the benefits that official Disney owned hotels get like "extra hours" at the parks and Disney Transportation (bus) Free which saves time and money. The hotel itself is worthy of at least four stars its beautiful. Housekeeping was an issue, […] they delivered fresh towels daily but didn't even attempt to clean the room any of the three days. Also, unless you're prepared to pay Disney prices for in resort restaurants, convenience store stuff (sundries) etc than you need to know that the resort is close to stuff but not really walking distance. Overall we were impressed and got our money's worth but there were some things that could have been fixed. Also character dinners only happen on the weekend at this hotel. "so-so"
There were only two attendants at check-in when we arrived by about 6:30 PM. Quite a wait to check in..Rooms are poorly sound-proofed. You can hear nearby room door closing with a loud bang that will wake you up as people still comes and go in the wee hours of the day. People can be heard talking loudly in the corridor in the odd hours as well. You […] can also hear neighboring room shower running or toilet flushed. Then only reason one should pay that much for that kind of quality is its proximity to theme parks, especially Epcot, in order to slip out and watch light show at night. Restaurants are overpriced. "Had a great stay"
You can't beat this location for ease of transportation. It is within walking distance to Epcot and the Boardwalk. If you can't find a great restaurant for a meal here, you can't find it anywhere. The pool was terrific. It's pricey to eat here, but then again it's pricey everywhere around the Disney grounds. It you get a chance check out the Beu Sisters […] Friday evenings at 7:00 in the Blue Zoo on the lower level. They were great to listen too and the food there was good. Tell them Anna sent you! :) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great hotel and location. Poor service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location"
For the price you can find better quality within a 10 mile radius. However, the location and convenience of the hotel was worth the extra cash. Be weary though, there is a $15 a day parking fee and a $14 resort fee per person.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel"
Everthing was very nice. I just think the hotel is just to large for my taste. The walk from the self parking to my 7th floor room is crazy long. On the up side it was very nice to ride to boat to the parks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"LOCATION + PRICE = PERFECTION"
The best thing about this hotel is the PRICE and LOCATION to the boardwalk and Epcot. You can walk to both places and the surrounding area is very beautiful. Our's was an adults-only trip and we had a great time. The staff told us that Dolphin had renovated the rooms – our room looked over the lake on the 1st floor which was perfect as we did not have […] to wait for elevators and could enter and exit with ease. The Dolpin was not overrun with children (like some other hotels in the area are), which I was exptreemly happy about! The comfort level is great. Bathrooms in the room was an older style but honestly, who cares – it was clean and had amazing shower pressure! The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. There is a great Disney shop in the lobby, better than any I saw in Epcot or on the Boardwalk. Valet costs only a few dollars more than parking the car yourself – I highly recommend it. All the employees are friendly and the hotel was kept in great condition. For the Dolphin not being a Disney owned hotel, I was very impressed with the quality and service. For location and price, you CANNOT beat the Dolphin and Swan. Dolphin was priced a little more economically then the Swan and I did not feel that we had a ‘cheep’ room. All I can say is LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Why spend $100’s of dollars more to stay at any of the other hotels around the lake, when you can stay at the Dolphin, save money and still have your magical Disney experience? "Fun in the sun."
Not owned by Disney World, so no free transport to/from the airport Use Mears shuttle service otherwise the airport taxi's will charge you close to 80$ plus tip one way. Older hotel, but fairly well kept as the grounds are beautiful and the beach is wonderful. It's in a terrific location so you can take a ferry to Epcot and to MGM. Waited in line to […] check in, but the bellmen were very friendly. Word of warning, there is no drink/snack machines on the different floors. I think I'd recommend this place, it is beautiful and having a beach at the back along with cabanas was wonderful. One great thing, you get the benefits of the extra park hours just like the regular guests. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"B-E-A-UTIFUL"
The Dolphin Hotel was absolutely stunning. Staff was extremely friendly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Even though this hotel is not owned by the Disney Corporation they maintain just as high of standards as Disney. Very satisfied with our room. Look forward to returning!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice Epcot Hotel"
Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom area was a little tight. Rooms were clean. The food in the hotel is rather overpriced. Disney transport was abysmal, but that is not the fault of the hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for Epcot, Hollywood Studios & Boardwalk"
The Dolphin/Swan complex is very nice. We are "seniors" and just wanted a couple days away (live in Tampa). Easy walk to boat transportation to Epcot & Hollywood Studios, which were the two parks we wanted to visit this trip. Our only minor complaints: Guest Service was slow to answer every time we called; but the bell men, room service and housekeeping […] were all friendly & quick to respond. The restaurants are pretty pricey!!! And the Dolphin doesn't have on-demand TV & Movies - not even Disney movies! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"we love the dolphin"
