I have stayed here before and I am very disapointed in their service. They treated the people in front of me great because they were running the Disney marathon so I decided to tell them also. They didn't seem to care. I asked them about tickets and that I have been told by the person who took the reservation that I could get a cheaper rate on-site. The room was dirty, it had not been cleaned. There was still trash in our bins. It smelled musty and dirty. The towels were old, some stained. The sheets were dirty and stained. The bed was hard. I must say I didn't enjoy staying at the hotel like I usually do. The weekend I stay- the whole hotel was with all team from football and cheerleaders. I usually spent a day in the parks and rest in the hotel. Couldn't rest in the hotel. Every where I walked with my kids there were playing football and using negative words. There were very few buses per hour, 3 to be eacr. And they went to all 3 all star rwsorts on route, so often noone had to wait up to 1 hour for a bus.The staff were great, the parks wonderful, but very long queues. Being Disney, I thought it would be awesome so apparently I set my expections too high. Normally, a hotel room has a coffee maker and sometimes a small fridge but not this one. "No Longer The Happiest Place on Earth"
It used to be that one could expect a higher level of customer servce at a Disney property. That is no longer the case. Every employee I encountered, except one, provided incorrect information, was rude, and/or was unwilling to report an issue on my behalf. I arrived after midnight. The front desk staff let me know they were tired and were confused […] while answering basic questions about the hotel. When I checked back with the front desk staff upon check-out the next morning, I was told that the night staff receive many complaints. If this is the case, then why are they still employed in those positions? I had a number of suitcases with me upon check-in and was given a room at the far end of the property (approximately 1/4 mile from the front desk). There was no bell captain or staff person to assist with my luggage. I found out upon check-out that someone was supposed to have been called to assist me with my luggage. When I asked a housekeeping staff member to report a broken vending machine, I was told that it was not their job to handle the situatiion. Considering the money I was paying I really had no expectation from this resort (Sports) but it didn't live upto those low expectation either.The room had cockroaches (dead and alive) all over the place. They probably used some sort of strong bug spary before we checked in and that smell was lingering for the entire stay (6 days). "Not Feeling Magical..."
This was our first trip to Disney World, so maybe my expectations were a little high, but I was not impressed with this hotel AT ALL. "Very Dissappointed with this Value Resort!"
My family and I were expecting great things from this resort because it was a "Disney" resort. Wow, were we in for a shock when we entered our room and saw how small the rooms were. We were expecting top of the line stuff and only got a "value hotel" feel. The rooms were no larger than a regular hotel room and the price was twice as much. We had problems […] with our AC in the room...not cooling like it should and when we called about it nothing was done about it. I can't say anything bad about the check-in staff, they were awesome but I really expected more. The room was located on the inside of the complex and there were kids outside on the "football" field playing "soccer" all night even past 12 AM. Very noisy. The shuttle to the parks were nice but we were very crowded with "tour groups" from another country that were staying at the hotel...it took us 3 buses before we could get on one to come back to the hotel. Will not stay here again because it is financially not a good deal. Would rather stay at a Hotel outside of the "Disney" resort area with more room and benefits like free wi-fi and breakfast buffet.
