Disney's Contemporary Resort is adjacent to the Magic Kingdom Park in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. This property stands six miles from Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course. Monorails zip through the mezzanine level of the hotel, providing access to select Disney resorts, the Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot.

Disney's Contemporary Resort features angular construction with a modernistic metal-and-glass lobby. Disney characters join in the breakfast fun at Chef Mickey's restaurant. The top-floor California Grill affords panoramic views and serves West Coast American-style cuisine. The Wave restaurant ushers in an era of eco-friendly fare with organic, locally produced foods. A total of 90,000 square feet of function space includes a conference center and the resort's business center. Land-based recreational amenities include volleyball. The resort boasts two outdoor pools, one shaped like Mickey Mouse's ears. Lounge chairs are arranged along Bay Lake's white-sand beach. A complimentary, limited-hour fitness facility contains television-mounted cardiovascular machines, weight-training equipment, yoga balls and free weights. The adjacent spa houses saunas, and offers salon services and customized massage therapies including poolside services.
Guestrooms.
This 14-story hotel offers 655 smoke-free, modern-style guestrooms housed in a main tower and three-story garden wings. Beds feature padded suede headboards and are dressed with 250-thread count sheets and white down duvets. Modern artwork complements cherrywood furnishings. Opaque doors lead to marble bathrooms with white, waffle-weave shower curtains, curved shower rods, square ceramic sinks and rain showerheads. Bathrooms are stocked with Aquatics H20 toiletries. Select guestrooms include refrigerators, however, they are available in all accommodations upon request. Laptop-compatible, in-room safes are complimentary. Rooms include flat-screen televisions and MP3 adaptors.

Outer Rim - Overlooking Bay Lake, this cocktail lounge serves specialty drinks, cocktails, and appetizers from midday till late evening.
Sand Bar and Grill - The poolside bar offers cold drinks, cocktails, and menu selections including burgers, deli sandwiches, and ice cream.
Concourse Steakhouse - Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served with the monorail concourse as a backdrop in this family-friendly steakhouse. Menu items include Mickey waffles, salads, sandwiches, burgers, prime-cut steaks, and seafood entrees. Priority seating is recommended.
California Grill - Offering expansive views of the Magic Kingdom® Park from the 15th floor, this award-winning restaurant serves American cuisine with a West Coast influence. Dinner only is served and prepared in an on-stage kitchen. A large selection of California wines is available. Priority seating is recommended.
Contemporary Grounds - This café is open from early morning till evening and serves espresso, lattes, and baked goods.
Located on Bay Lake, the resort has a small sandy beach and its own marina that rents sailboats, Hobie cats, and pontoon boats. Fishing excursions can be arranged, and additional water sports include parasailing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and tubing (surcharge applies for all water-sports rentals). The hotel's main outdoor pool is created in the shape of Mickey's ears and overlooks the bay; there is also a second pool, an additional children's pool, and a spa tub. Six clay tennis courts and sand volleyball courts are available, and the fitness center has Cybex and cardiovascular equipment as well as a dry sauna. A playground, interactive water fountains, and game arcade are also provided.
The 36-hole Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park are both six miles from the resort via complimentary transportation. The resort's guest service desk can assist with reservations on any one of Disney's five PGA tour–caliber golf courses, all located on Walt Disney World® Resort property. A 9-hole walking course is also available.

Resort Airline Check-In Service allows guests to check luggage and receive boarding passes at the hotel. This service accepts one bag per passenger on JetBlue.
