Our visit to Disney Beach Resort did not go as well as I had hoped. We reserved three rooms - one of the rooms experienced maintenance issues and was not ready as promised. We were given an up-grade for the unavailable room, but that separated my family. The staff was apologetic but held firm not being able to keep us together.

My husband and I traveled with our two and a half year old son and my husband's parents. We were thoroughly pleased with this hotel, especially its location as you are close to Epcot and the Boardwalk (walking distance). Hollywood Studios is just a short boat ride away, too. Highly recommend!

The garden view room was really a NO VIEW room. Noisy in the early morning Room 2672 was right above the lobby with a small view of the arriving vehicles to the hotel. Exceptional pool. Didn't have the bst selection of equipment in gym. No rowing machine. Concierge services did everything for us! Managed children's activities without disturbing other customers. Movie on the beach was cool. Very friendly accommodating staff.

The hotel is very pretty from the outside but the rooms need updating. We had a leak in the shower and calking was coming a part at the seams. The room smelled musty. The food at the resort is OK. The hotel raves about the Yachtsman Steakhouse and it may have been one of the worst steaks I ever had. Overpriced, over cooked and dry. You may go thirsty […] waiting for a waitress poolside. They are understaffed at the main Pool. The waitress came around once in 1 hour. My wife and I reviewed the trip when flying back to Texas and we agreed that there are far better vacations for the money. To spend that kind of money at Disney and it be just OK is not satisfactory. We went for the weekend to EPCOT for the Xmas festivities. The hotel was nice but the main attraction is the fact it is right next to the back entrance of EPCOT. It was a very short walk which meant we avoided the hassle of the Disney parking lot and worse those Disney transportation buses.

High rates and lots of construction going on. Difficult to access food for kids, and lots of climbing up and down stairs. Hard with a family. Also, the staff was older, slow and couldn't answer many questions.

We stayed 5 days at the hotel and the accomodations were nice. This was one of the few hotels allowing 5 guests comfortably in a hotel room. The food in the restaurants was mediocre and extremely overpriced. Hotel is beautiful, clean, and staff are very helpful. My kids, age 4, 10, and 12 all enjoyed the 3 different pools. It was great there was "quiet pools" too, for when you need to unwind from Disney. Walking distance to Epcot, Boardwalk and Hollywood (or just take the ferry).

Beach Club Resort is a great hotel in the center of the Disney World property. You can walk or take a boat taxi to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. There is regular bus transportation to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, as well as the water parks and Downtown Disney. The only bus ride that is long / slow is Downtown Disney. It's a private floor with multiple concierges, breakfast, lunch snacks, dinner snacks, and wonderful evening desserts and evening beer, wine, and some liquors included. We do Club Level rather than a dining package. Club Level is a great deal if you will be around your room midday or evening to enjoy the food. We park hop a lot, so stopping back at the hotel to refresh and fuel up works for us. Beach Club also has the best pool on the Disney property, with a lazy river, water slide, and several pools and hot tubs. It's a great hotel for teens. The pool might be a bit big for younger kids, but there is a separate shallow pool area for them. Beach Club Club Level isn't cheap, but it's quite an experience, and very highly recommended. Pros : close to Epcot and within 5 min walking to the side entrance of Epcot . Also convenient to Hollywood studio . Boat ride takes 20 min to Hollywood studio . I walk to hollywood studio and takes 20-30 min. Great Disney Resort hotel for kids. Very friendly staff. Pool is great with a pirate ship slide and beach sand pool area. Pool side game for kids in afternoon and marshmellow roasting at night in addidition to outdoor movies every night. Kids loved the character breakfast. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is housekeeping forgot to clean our room one day (staff was very apologetic and put a credit on our account) and resort was doing maintenance at the pool area making it a little difficult to get to the beachsand pool area and the poolside counter-service restaurant and bar. Have stayed at the Beach Club before and was very surprised this time at some of the service missteps. It started at the front desk. I booked on Expedia and was never prompted or required to list all of the names of the 9 people traveling with me and staying in the 3 rooms that I reserved. My name was on all 3 rooms and this proved waaayyy too confusing […] for the front desk person, so, after about 20 minutes (!) he asked the manager, Judy, to come over. Her first response was: "Well, we can't fix this, you'll need to call the wholesaler, Expedia". Whaaaaa???? Where's the Disney Service?? When I told her "no, that's not acceptable, figure it out." She spent another 10 minutes with her annoyed face staring at the computer screen and her fingers entering the names of our party, etc. And then, through her huffing and puffing there was some sort of "work around" and 30 minutes after arriving, she slapped down our room keys. No real apology - no real warm "Disney Welcome!" Really??? So, a cautionary tale: be sure to key in all your guests names and ages in Expedia so you can avoid this mess! And of course, bring your print outs to prove it! In addition, we had no hot water on our last day. They warned us that it'd be out from 1-5am but by 7:30am still nothing. When we left the hotel at 3pm that day (unshowered), still no hot water. I felt badly for the arriving guests!! We made our own fun but some "CMs" need a refresher in Disney Magic! Read more

Beach Club is Awesome! Just got back from our kids first experience at Disney..ages 7 and 9. Beach Club is located a quick boat ride from Hollywood Studios and Epcot and a 10 minute bus ride from Magic Kingdom. THe staff is very friendly and helpful. Just returned from our 4th visit to this resort and will not return. The place was overrun with badge wearing convention attendees who must have thought they were in Vegas. When the women in the room next door decided to sign in an outside guest and have a private party with a happy ending at 1:30am it was a bit much. When we asked to change rooms we were told there was a 10 pm noise rule and to just call if it happened again. Well it happened again that night, we called and security had to settle things down. All that did was delay the next "happy ending" until 8am the next morning. Loud enough to wake my 11 y.o. son up forcing us to quickly turn on the TV to drown out the activities. Front desk staff was less than helpful and did not even think to have this women moved given the situation. Finally gave us a different room although only after asking to see a manager. Of course we were without a room for most of a day while they made the change. Never offered an apology, nothing... Sorry to say this was once our favorite hotel but not any longer. Read more

The Beach Club is our favorite Disney resort. The transportation to the parks is buy bus or via a walk through the World Showcase and EPCOT to the monorail. We really enjoy walking to EPCOT. Hollywood Studios park is a short boat ride from the resort dock. The pool is amazing, but was closed for an hour for a unspecified problem. The Cape May Cafe is the perfect character breakfast and the food is very good (make a reservation several months in advance for all Disney dining). Beach Club was fantastic! The room was great, the hotel staff awesome, pool was fantastic, and the location was great! After spending most mornings at a Disney park, we spent most afternoons at the pool, then were able to take the 5 minutes walk to Epcot for the evening. I have found that the more I travel the better value I get from staying on a concierge or club floor, especially in a place like this where you are basically spending the day at the theme parks and don't need to spend time waiting for breakfast or snacks. Their club cafe is almost open 24 - 7. The breakfast there was more than enough to get us through most of the day and we enjoyed having a glass or two of wine or a beer there when we came back after a long day. This was our second trip to Orlando and second stay at the Beach Club. Although you are paying a premium to stay at a Disney property, the location and setting is really hard to beat. Add to that Disney's great transporation system, this is the best way to go if you're sole purpose is to visit the Disney parks and it fits into your budget.

We were used to staying at one of the "monorail" resorts on Disney property. Very surprised just how beautiful the Beach Club was. While it would be nice to be able to jump right into one of the parks, the busses and the ferries ran constantly and were no trouble at all. A different experience, but one I'd highly recommend.

Decided to stay (and pay a lot more) at a Disney Resort for the "Magical Experience". We were not able to make reservations or attend any of the character breakfasts, even at the resort we were staying - they were all full. In fact, no reservations were available at any restaurant for any meal anywhere on the entire Disney Campus. We were able to walk […] up for meals at off times without a problem, but the food at all price levels was very poor. Choices were exceptionally expensive (higher than a ball park), unhealthy and low quality. For this reason alone we would not stay and pay a premium for the resorts again. We also had exceptionally long waits for park shuttles (to and from the resort and parks). Beyond that most everything was overpriced to an embarrassing level - I do not have a problem spending money, but when I do, I want something for it. Unfortunately, my experience at the Disney Beach Club resort fell short of my expectations. The pool was nice, movie night on the beach was fun, being a 3 minute walk from Epcot was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. It's just that you can get so much more for your money by renting a nice house with a pool, renting a car and choosing from all the attractions (including Disney) in the area. Read more
