The Magical Express got us from the airport to the Customs House in about 30 minutes, after a 15-minute wait. The check-in process took about 15 minutes (after I'd already done the online check-in.) Depending on where your room is, you probably won't be able to walk there with your luggage from the Customs House, so you'll have to wait up to 25 minutes […] for the Internal bus to pick you up and give you a lift. The ride should only take about 5 minutes, though. Once settled in your room, you'll have to hop on another bus (up to 25 minute wait) to get to the parks (10-25 minute ride, depending on where you're headed.)When checking out, you'll have to head back to the Customs House to catch the Magical Express. This can be a challenge since you're not allowed to bring your luggage back onto the Internal bus. So you'll either have to walk to the Customs House or you'll have to make arrangements with bell services for a ride over there. Transportation aside, the rooms were fine. No king beds, though. The bathroom situation is a little weird (the sinks are out in the bedroom area rather than in the bathroom.) The pools and beaches are lovely. The food at the food court is decent. The drinks at the Banana Cabana are not terribly overpriced. The walk from the rooms to the main resort area is pleasant. I'd stay there again. Read more

Our stay at the Disney Caribbean Beach Resort was pleasant but disappointing. The room location was great, but the condition of the room was subpar. The location of the hotel is convenient, due to the shuttle service, which was great! The actual physicality of the hotel was nice as well - a little outdated, but very clean, and the maid service did a wonderful job each day. The maid service was the exception, though, and the downside of this hotel though was the other services. First, our check-in […] was very slow. I don't know if the worker was new or what, but it took about 30 minutes once we were helped, which I think is quite long compared to other hotels. We were also offered a service to put a credit card number on our room key so that we could use that in the park and consolidate. We thought that that was a great service, and asked for it, but when we tried to use it in the park they said it wasn't activated. Luckily we had the same credit card that was supposedly put on the room key with us, and it worked just fine. But if we hadn't brought it with us, we would have been in real trouble. Also, there wasn't a bellhop available to transport our luggage to our room (the rooms are far from the check in area. Usually I never use bell services). This was fine with us since they offered to bring our luggage later while we were at the park. We took what we needed out of our bags and went to our room. However, when we got back from the parks that night, our luggage was not in our room. We called down to the front desk and were put on hold for 15 minutes before we hung up. We called back, and were put on hold for another 15 minutes. Then when we called back for a third time, we were told that they didn't know where our luggage was, and would call us back when they found our luggage. We were feeling somewhat anxious at this point. Thirty minutes or so later the luggage was brought up to our room. We had another issue with service at checkout. We told the agent at the front desk that we don't accept text messages on our phones so she said she would call us when our room was ready. She never called and once we realized she wasn't going to call we had to call to check. She said we never told her we couldn't accept texts. My wife and I both told her!!!!!! Hotel consists of several villages with two story buildings housing rooms. Each village has central swimming pool, laundry facilities and transportation bus stops that travel to all the disney attractions and run very frequently. The rooms have central A/C as well as a ceiling fan so you can control temperature. Housekeeping was excellent. the room […] had plenty of towels, soap, glasses and cups. As long as you put the do not disturb sign on your door you will not be disturbed. I dont recall hearing noise from other rooms. There is also refrigerators in the rooms. Each village also has a private beach area mostly sand surrounding pond. You can rent sailboats. There is a central village Old Port Royal that has restaurants, shops and an even bigger swimming pool complex with water slides and water cannons. Being a frequent Orlando visitor I didn't utilize the pool or beach areas as I spent days touring other Florida attractions. However, by staying on Disney property, guest can take advantage of Magic Hours. Select Disney theme parks will open an hour early or remain open for two to three hours just for Disney Hotel guests. I spent the afternoons and late evenings attending the disney theme parks. I have stayed at other Disney properties as well and I can't complain about any of my stays. Read more

This was a great place to stay to get to and from the parks quickly on the Disney buses. The Extra Magic Hours provided to those who stay on Disney property were wonderful. We especially enjoyed the beach and relaxing on the hammock. I would definitely stay here again!
