The 13-acre beachfront resort is adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico in St. Pete Beach, Florida, 0.5 mile from Dolphin Village shops, 6.4 miles from Tropicana Field and 7.9 miles from The Pier.
Hotel Features.
The oceanfront Sirata Beach Resort features wrought-iron details and Mediterranean architectural features. Popular with wedding parties and conventions, this resort has 15,000 square feet of interior meeting and event space, plus 10,000 square feet of exterior gardens and beachfront decks. A business center is on site (surcharge), and wireless Internet access is available (surcharge).
Guests can sunbathe on the adjacent white-sand beach or relax in an oceanfront hammock. Three outdoor pools, two whirlpools, and a 24-hour fitness center are on site. A water-sports kiosk can arrange sunset cruises, snorkeling, parasailing, and fishing trips. The front desk offers complimentary beach volleyball and bag toss equipment for guest use.
Dining options at Sirata Beach Resort include The Compass Grill restaurant, a coffee shop, and two poolside and beachfront bars with live weekend entertainment. An on-site gift shop sells souvenirs and convenience items. Self parking is available (surcharge). Trailer parking is not permitted on site.
Guestrooms.
Sirata Beach Resort accommodations comprise five buildings, some with exterior corridor access. Amenities include refrigerators, coffeemakers and alarm clocks with iPod docking stations. Flat-screen TV comes with cable, pay movies and video games (surcharge). Local calls and weekday newspapers are complimentary. Some guestrooms have balconies or patios and ocean views.
Children staying free must occupy the parent or guardian’s room with existing bedding and may not be eligible for free breakfast (if one is offered).

Gulf Boulevard runs the length of the Beach Cities, from Clearwater Beach in the north to St. Pete Beach in the south. Along this main drag, visitors can shop, dine, and sleep at a variety of lodging options. Highlights include Pier 60, where crowds watch sunsets and street performers; and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, which rehabilitates injured sea animals such as dolphins and tortoises.

"must see"
I had a wonderful and comfortable stay in sirata hotel. The beach area is just at the back, close to our training institution, near the shopping complex and restobars. "Sirata on St. Pete Beach"
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was adequate. I tought I made a reservation for two queens or full beds, but we received a king bed with a pull-out sleeper sofa. We made it work. Due to the nature of our visit, we did not spend much time at the resort, but the facilities and the beach appeared to be top-notch. "nice place"

"Won't go back"
The room attempted to be nice, there were nice pillows on the bed, but the furniture had definitely seen better days. There was no table or writing desk, nor was there an ottoman to put your feet up. To be comfortable, one had to sit on the bed. The refridgerator was scratched up. I got tired of the "nickel and dime" attitude ie. $8/day parking, $9.99 […] a day internet. There was no balcony or anyplace really to sit outside and enjoy the view, unless you walk to the beach. Prices in the gift shop were outrageous. The beach was not very well maintained. Housekeeping staff and bellman were very nice. Neighborhood was awful! There was a party going on at the hotel next door (spring break?) and it was terribly loud.
