"Over rated hotel!"
Front desk attendant gave us the wrong directions to our room, not a big deal cuz I can read signs but c'mon! Rooms are poorly lit and outdated. Seriously it's 2012 where's the flat screen and wall plug-ins. When you have to unplug the lights to plug in ur phone there's a problem. There is NO drive way!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Outdated but okay for a short stay."
Staff is outstanding. Very courteous and eager to help. Hotel is old and in need of updating. TV's are a joke. Our picture was out of focus and very poor quality. Very old. There are plenty of concession machines. The sports club is nice and the staff was great. Breakfast is below par with other continental breakfasts. It would be easy to improve with […] a choice of meats at breakfast and a pancake and waffle machine. The beds were very comfortable but the bathrooms were too small. There was not enough room on the vanity for both of our toiletry items. There was a refrigerator in the room but no microwave. Access to the hotel is a little tricky but there are are many nice restaurants within one block. This could easily be a 3 star hotel with some updating, new TV sets and bathroom updates. "What a joke."
The photos included on this site do NOT match the room we had to stay in. We expected to have a large round tub and just got a regular old shower. This place has been here for years and years without in renovation to the rooms. I was once in a motel room just like it in the 70's.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not at all a great hotel"
I was really disappointed in the condition of this hotel, as the review suggested that it was good. While the hotel and restaurant staff were FABULOUS, the condition of the hotel was outdated and unclean. While my room was "clean" in a relative sense, I had a feeling that there was just an underlying, permanent grime that wasn't going to wash away. […] Also, when I turned on the bathroom faucet, tiny bugs crawled out of the bottom of the sink. That led to a very uncomfortable night where i didn't sleep out of fear of bugs, et cet. The layout of the hotel is weird, too. It does resemble a "barracks" or a converted dorm--very institutional. "Another Hotel I will not recommend"
Had bad experience with another hotel that I booked through Hotels.com. I wanted to give Hotels.com another chance so I booked this hotel through them. I've explained to the Customer service person that I had a bad experience previously with another hotel and her response was "you'll like this one because, I stayed there before". Older hotel in need of renovations. While it claims to be non smoking, it wasn't and the room and halls all smelled of years of smoking. Strange layout, more resembling a barracks than a hotel.
