The rooms were great, very clean and comfortable. Liked the direct access to the parking lot from the room. The front desk service was not good, they were not as pleasant and friendly as you would expect from the front desk of a hotel. No information was provided about the complimentary breakfast and the need to obtain a meal ticket. I travel slightly over 30 weeks per year. I have been thinking about how I can schedule more overnights in Sioux City to stay in the Marina Inn more often. The comfort of the hotel easily beats comparably priced chains. Everything about the hotel is a step up, from the quality of the sheets, to the onsite restaurant. The hotel does not offer a complimentary […] breakfast, which is great for me, because I loathe the quality of the continental breakfasts at comparable restaurants. There's a nearby Panera if I don't want to eat at the relatively expensive onsite restaurant. I had a minor issue with the temperature and flow rate of the shower. "The people at the front desk were preoccupied with a big group coming in"
I didn't feel valued; the front desk was more eager to check in a sports group. The pool was opened late in the morning and without towels. There was no explanation beyond "Come back in 20 minutes." Again, the front desk seemed preoccupied to handle well the big group. I probably won't stay again. I also ordered to go a hamburger, etc. from Kahill's.
