"POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE"

The hotel was okay. The room needed some updating, especially the bathroom. The outside of the hotel did have the new logo, so interior updates were probably next. My only real gripe about the hotel was the "continental breakfast". Oatmeal packets, granola bars, and empty coffee thermoses. That was it. I stay in hotels about 150 nights per year, so […] I understand what 'continental breakfast' means. They did the absolute BARE MINIMUM to say they have a breakfast. "Near Intel/shopping"
Room was great, more accomodations than expected. Our stay was great although their "grab and go" breakfast did not fill us up---there were mostly breakfast bars and oatmeal packets. Hotel was clean an up to date. Would have given all 5 stars but our bathroom floor was a little nasty. Grout on the floor was pretty filthy and the tub/shower had older fixtures. "Not the best option"
We arrived to check in at 4:15pm local time. We were told that the room was not ready, as it had not been cleaned yet. We were told that we could go in the room in about 45 minutes. We unloaded our luggage and chose to wait in the lobby/dining area AFTER we waited outside for about 15 minutes, therefore only 30 minutes hanging out in the lobby before […] we could put our luggage in the room and go on to the balloon festival. The festival was the reason we were in town for ONE night only. We missed the evening balloon glow, etc., because our room actually took 1 1/2 HOURS to clean, twice as long as we were told it would take. Once we did get into our room, it was nasty. Pubic hair ON TOP of the commode seat (nasty anywhere, but visibly on top? Just don't understand how the "cleaning" person did NOT see that). Pubic hair around the bathroom floor as well as one on the desk area. No shampoo or lotion (even days inn and best western leave these in the rooms) in the room. Window in room was opened slightly and wouldn't close. Just overall not my choice of a place to stay. We did stay because there were no other places available due to the balloon festival happening that weekend/week. Will not recommend to anyone unless you absolutely have no other options available. "wasn't impressed"
The motel itself was okay but the staff's attitude was not the best. my reservation was a king size bed but when I got to the room it was two double beds. What was planned as a vacation, turned into a trip for a funeral, but regardless of that; my hotel room, was run down, shappy looking and in desperate need of renovation! "No Breakfast on Weekends"
I booked this hotel because of location and some sort of breakfast. When we checked in, we were told they don't do breakfast on weekends. No where on their website or Hotels.com does it state this. I booked for 3 adults. It was a king bed and sleeper sofa. Of course the sleeper sofa was going to be used. The rude front desk person was quick to mention […] no breakfast but kept mum about there being no sheets on the sleeper and none in the room. Another hassle for us, the guests to deal with, just to get some rest. 2 of everything in the room for 3 adults booked into the room. Why is it so hard for them to make sure there are enough and sheets for the sleeper when there are 3 adults using the room? The coffee in the breakfast room (which is available on weekends) was strong. The room was beat up. The bed had a visible dip in the middle. The bathroom vanity is worn out. Some weird pillow wrapping bedspread--how often is that washed? The sheets are rough. The space was good. The room was quiet. The kitchenette is equipped for 2 guests. "OK...not great"
My experience is a mixed one, in part due to two snowfalls that happened during my three night stay. First, the hotel sits behind a row of trees, the sign difficult to see (especially in the snow). I had to pull of the road to call them and ask for directions. Desk staff when I arrived was pleasant and courteous. There was mention of a breakfast buffet, […] but when I went down Sunday morning the person told me there is none on the weekend...that's a bad omission in my opinion. Snow removal was very poor. And as cars went over the snow it melted and froze as ice. When I left the parking lot was icy and the walks mostly unshoveled...this was not acceptable. I stayed in a King room. It was spacious and comfortable, especially for a single traveler. Having a refrigerator, coffee maker, stove and dishwasher are a big plus. I think most travelers will find this an adequate accomodation, but there are not a lot of extras and not having daily cleaning in the room may not work for some. Overall satisfied w/our stay. Kitchen amenities are a plus when you stay for a few days. Wireless internet not free but surcharge was a one time fee for two night stay.
