I drove up to do a paranormal investigation at the Burlington Prison. My stay at the Courtyard Marriott was great. The beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean and quiet. It seemed more of a business hotel as there was an office working space in the lobby and a number of desks with chairs/sofas. "gracious hospitality"
This is a fine hotel with many of the immenities we were looking for while spending time with our young grandsons. The hotel employees were very kind, gracious and helpful, unfortunately there was not enough staff to provide the necessary services. We ordered a warm breakfast of eggs and french toast that was served to us very cold! While the only attendent […] at the bistro was in the kitchen preparing our breakfast, other guests arrived and wanted to order but left because no one was available to take their order. When we took the grandkids out to the patio, it had not been cleaned up from the night before. This hotel is beautiful and as I said, the staff are very eager to serve, they just need some additional help in order to upgrade the service. The hotel is really very nice. The room was beautiful. It has the standard double bed, but a really nice work area and desk and also lots of lights which were great. You can tell the extra detail that Marriott put in the room with the lamp shades, wallpaper and pictures in the room.
