This hotel is in a great location, close to many great restaurants and night spots. Only trouble was that it was very loud at night! We could hear the... party-goers til all hours. Not a big deal for our kids who sleep through anything - but was noticable for us. Hotel was clean and staff was nice. Not very easy to find when on foot the first time - and our cab driver had trouble finding it too ... (lobby is on 5th floor - and elevator entrance to hotel lobby was not obviously marked). by Carol from Durham, NC on 10/17/10

This was our first time in Charlotte and when we made the reservations we told the agent we needed a family friendly and a dog friendly place to enjoy the city and this place is nothing like it. We don't recommend it at all.

Very nice and modern looking hotel! Very helpful staff too! Unfortunately if you are looking at having some rest and going to bed before 230 am, this probably is not your fit! It was so loud with all the music and screaming and I could hear every word whoever the d j was saying!

Room smelled of smoke (we have dogs but they dont smell that bad). No dog beds or bowls but dogs loved treats. Two different elevators to get to hotel as it "starts" on 5th floor (not afan). Making it worse...there are only two available for each stop and they are slow and crowded. Pros: Great area. Lots of fun. Good food choices. Pharmacy nearby […] for anything you need.
