"Everything was great, except the food"
The bartender was so pleasant and the drinks were good, but the food for dinner could use a little work. It wasn't horrible, but I expected more from a Hilton. Breakfast was phenomenal. "Freeway close and no downtown traffic"
Everything was excellent, my only complaint is that a non smoking room should not smell of smoke! Every thing I brought needed to be laundered. Maybe they make smoke alarms to notify staff of a smoker in the room?Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not Impressed"
Had room service the first one of three days only. Definite mildew smell in room. No in-room refrigerator. No TV directory. Bed was delightful. AC unit was loud. There's a few nice restaurants nearby including excellent Carolina BBQ at Sammy's, Sushi and Chili's.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Weekend clients are not where this hotel focuses"
Charlotte Hilton Executive Park had its high points and low points over our weekend stay. At check-in my husband and I were given a room with 2 doubles when I had reserved 1 king so we had to go back to the desk clerk and then lug all our stuff to the new room. A positive was that the evening engineer on call was most helpful and friendly and pushed […] our cart down the hall since there was no bellman. He also helped with a special request cheerfully and competently. Our purpose was to attend a 3 day seminar F/S/S and the meeting room was below any acceptable level of heating (62degrees on the thermostat) and it was at least 2 days before it warmed up to reasonable levels. The dining room could not accomodate a group of just 12 of us for lunch, so we were forced to box up our meals and eat in the event room. To add insult to injury, we were told that if we had made a reservation ! we would have been able to eat in time. The staff was entirely undermanned and some were obviously pulled in from other departments without any idea of what to do. There were only about 10 others in the whole dining room at the height of the lunch hour... At the end of the event we learned from the bartender that the hotel is completely geared to weekday business traffic and reverts to a ghost town for the weekend. We were quite pleased with our room and enjoyed the fact that our exterior window was curved, an interesting feature. All the staff was cordial except as noted.
