"Good for the price"
The lobby area is nice. Definitely a bit above average. The hallways seemed a bit cramped and dark as well as the elevator. Our room was just a bit larger than your typical room which was nice considering that we had a king sized bed. Lighting in the room could have been a bit brighter though. The bathroom is where I'm disappointed in this place. […] The bathtub is pretty small and was not really clean. I don't like seeing hair in a hotel bathroom. That doesn't seem like too much to ask. Also, the tile work was pretty bad. Like DIY "I took a class at Home Depot" bad. Oh, their website says that a fridge is available upon request. What the site doesn't mention is that there's a $10 charge. We needed to store medication though for which they do not charge you for the fridge if that's your situation. Just be sure to mention it. "Good times, good people."
Picked up by the shuttle at the airport...Front desk person gave us warm cookies when we arrived. Room was big, clean and had a sliding door to the courtyard. We enjoyed hanging out on the grass/ tables outside. Was nice not to be stuck in the room the entire time. We brought our own food to eat and were kinda bummed there wasn't a microwave in the […] room. The front desk guy let us use the one in the employee break room. Turned out to be a good adventure in and of itself. Really nice employees let us hang while our food cooked and even gave us free bottled water. "Great Amenities!"
Overall, this hotel was GREAT and I will probably stay there again. The only thing we did not like was that you had to walk through the block of smoking rooms to get to the non-smoking rooms and the hallway reeked of smoke! Also, apparently the pillows in my non-smoking room had been used previously in a smoking room... I woke up several times to the […] smell of smoke with the pillows BESIDE me.
