I was a little disappointed in the breakfast. The staff was considerate but I have better prepared food at other Embassy Suites Hotels. "embassy charlotte"
Boiler broke and I was discounted 20 dollars, on top of it being new years eve with the police patrolling the halls. Terrible experience for my production crew staying there. "Broken toilet & sink in bathroom was plugged"
The toilet in the room was not working properly, it ran constantly & would make a loud swishing sound about every five minutes. The noise was so loud it prevented me from sleeping at night. I slept with the TV on two nights, to drown out the noise coming from the toilet. The hotel finally corrected the problem after demanding the issue be addressed. "We will not be back"
The hotel was very noisy. Between the sounds coming from outside and the noise fom people talking/shouting as they walk past our room, we never had a quiet moment. Service was fine. "Not a quiet hotel"
I am in the middle of my stay and after continually being woken up by loud people, I felt compelled to write this review. This hotel isn't in the best part of town, its feels pretty rough. There always seem to be creepy people lurking in the parking lot. This property seems to cater to a lower class of clientele then what you expect to at a hotel at […] this rate. typical embassy suites breakfast fare prepared by the most congenial staff who never ceased to smile and offer kind words with their omlets. our stay was punctuated by recurring security alarms from 1AM through our departure at 10AM. initially, we evacuated as prompted and approached firefighters to inquire about the safety of our return. this happened […] repeatedly until a break in the alarms at 2:30AM. when the alarms repeated in the morning, we checked out. no staff member offered reassurance nor did anyone claim to know what was happening when asked. no room fees were deducted to compensate for our inconvenience. "Nice hotel, bad area, charge for wifi"
Came here for a two day business trip. The hotel is in a sketchy neighborhood but close to the freeway so you can get to downtown Charlotte pretty easily. Clean rooms and friendly staff. One thing that bothers me, they charged $10/night for wifi. And it was so slow that my cell phone had faster browsing. The days of me paying for internet connectivity […] are over. "An Oasis in Charlotte"

This was a nice hotel. The breakfast was superb. The hotel furniture needs upgrading for the rates charged. My room, 818, was cold and had paper under the sink in the bedroom (which is probably still there). The furnace had to be reset which was something I did not know about. It wasn't until I complained that an engineer came up at 11 PM. I was exhausted […] after a long flight. The hotel was full of kids from a swim team. The noise level was unreal! Neither did I get any benefits booking through Hotels.com for being a gold member of Hilton even though I presented the hotel with my number. I was and am disappointed about that. The front desk staff was very hospitable, professional, and made me feel really at home! They were phenomenal. The food was well priced from Omaha Steaks and delicious. "If it wasn't for the teenage tournament, our stay would have been much better!"
Oh! I have to remember to ask the reservationist about other events happening at the hotel on the days/nights i have reservations. My mistake and the reservationist mistake for not mentioning it. The hotel was filled with loud and highly active teenagers and their loud and active parents, what a dissapointment. Otherwise, I think I would have enjoyed […] my stay at the Embassy suites. The dinner at the restaurant was very good but the wait was long due to the over-crowdiness of the hotel. "Last time to stay here"

We will definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The shuttle service to\from the airport was great, as was the shuttle to\from the Lynx lite rail. The buffet breakfast every morning was very nice. We could only take part in the Manager's Reception one night, and it was great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
