Awesome place for a very good price. Exactly what I look for when traveling.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Decent place in poor area. Room OK. Still has old old TV in room. Couldn't really see football games very wellGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Arrowhead"
We chose this hotel because it was close to Arrowhead Stadium and the price was right. The area around the hotel seemed a little scary but we had no problems and would stay there again if we were going to another game. Staff was friendly and room was comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just Terrible...not worth the price"
Looked for a place to sleep got terrible room and bathroom with hardly no security and an attendant who apparently had to do everything. From Clerk to laundry to cleaning.... It looks cheap but not worthyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient location to East Side of KC"
Nice hotel in an area that needs improvement. I was surprised to find it that nice when I saw the area driving in. Looks like there are some things being worked on around it. Very easy to get to ball parks and so forth. Will use again. Get there before dark to improve your wife's comfort level going in; other than that it's all good. Dollar Gen next […] door for easy supply runs. A Micky D at the end of the street for a quick rumbly-tumbly fix. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We get to the hotel & check-in was fine. We get to the room & my bf uses the rest room only to find blonde hair all over the toilet...I'm a brunette. He the tried to adjust the air because it was very warm in the room only to find mold all over the vents. He then went to lay down on the bed & found a condom wrapper next to the nightstand. We were moved […] to another room without hesitation but that room wasn't much better...the bedskirt had VERY noticeable mold built up on it. Mold doesn't form over night. Our third room was better but the air still was inadequate. Moral of the story, you get what you pay for! Convenience isn't always a good thing. Horribly uncomfortable beds & air conditioning sucked!!! Filthy rooms....very unacceptable experience! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Rooms smell like crackhead and the bed was broken"
Booked a room using the hotels.com app because the app is awesome and makes it all easy. $102 LAST MINUTE ON A SATURDAY NIGHT, NOT BAD. The hotel itself had a great appearance but the nightmare started as soon as we engaged the front desk clerk to ask for the keys. She was half way sleep and did not have a good attitude. I got my key a headed to my […] smoking room (not by choice) and almost fainted from the SMOKE smell as soon as i entered the room. The bed had a huge hole in the middle and there were LOW LIFE people fighting on the hallway. IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR DATE AGAIN DO NOT GO THERE. LOL Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel close to Arrowhead Stadium"
Obvious owners had tried to update. However, had a sixties feel based on furniture. Room air conditioner didn't cool down during the night (wall unit). Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Not the best neighborhood.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Weekend with the Royals!"
Hotel was very close to the stadium, very easy to find and check-in was a breeze! Beds were so soft we sunk into them and had a hard time climbing back out again. Only surprise was that the pool was rather small but clean and welcome after a long drive.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Average hotel poor service."
My family and I were very disappointed. To begin with, some of the room amenities named in the listing were not there. We were expecting a small refrigerator and a microwave as listed and neither were present in our room. My wife asked for extra towels twice on the evening of our arrival and was told they would be delivered but they never were delivered […] and we were not notified when they were available. Also, the cable tv service kept dropping out. Overall we were disappointed in our accommodations. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient Location to I-435"
I stayed here less than a full day, checking out after a 14-hour stay due to my travel schedule. Based on my brief stay, this room adequately met my needs for a brief stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Just a Pit Stop"
Needed a place to crash on the way to St. Louis and this was very affordable. The desk manager was difficult to understand but happy to help. Room was clean, but there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room wich was dissapointing.Genuine Expedia guest review
small pool... great breakfast... However outside maintenance person was sitting in breakfast area watching TV as I ate my breakfast. Room was fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Work in Progress"
The plumbing fixtures in our bathroom were literally coming out of their mounting areas. Discarded mattresses in the vacant lot behind the hotel. Broken glass by the pool area. It appears that Days Inn acquired this property and is in the process of refurbishing it. Definitely NOT worth the money at this time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"OK hotel but location questionable"
We passed Kansas city during our cross country trip. Stayed here for one night. Hotel is ok and clean. Rooms are newly updated. Breakfast including sausages. Owner/front desk is very friendly. Pool is very small. However, we feel unsafe during the night. Lots of loud people outside. Apparently this is not a good neighborhood for family stay!Genuine Expedia guest review
Comfortable beds, basic breakfast, small outdoor pool, not-so-good neighborhood.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not too far from Plaza and Arrowhead"
Fairly nice location. The hotel was a little rundown, but it got the job done.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A little noisy"
The walls must be very thin. We could hear everyone that walked by the room (at all hours of the night). Could also hear the street traffic as if it was right next door. The room itself and the staff were very nice and cordial.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Find another motel"
Reaaly looked nice from the website. Convenient location for our activities. Lots of sirens. Not the greatest neighborhood. Found a full syringe of who knows what on top of the bathroom mirror. Certain we won't stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Okay but not the best choice."
I was a little dissappointed when we came back o our room and found that the window was unlocked. It was unlocked when we went in at 2:00 am but never thought to check it. Anyone could have had access to our room without our knowledge.Genuine Expedia guest review
Picked this hotel for the location and free breakfast. Sign said breakfast was until 9:30. We arrived at 8:30 and everything was cleaned up and gone. Really disappointed.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not our best hotel experience"
First off, the hotel pool barely meets the minimum requirement of what I would consider a pool. It is tiny, more like a large hot tub with the temperature controls disabled. Of course there is no diving, because you could jump over the whole thing. Secondly, this hotel seemed to be on a highway designed for ambulances to use ALL night long. I counted […] 13 separate sirens as I lay in bed praying that sleep would come. Not really the hotel's fault, but it definitely took away from the chance at a peaceful nights sleep. Thirdly, we could hear other guests running up and down the walkway outside our room until around 2am. Maybe they were watching the ambulances. Again not the hotel's fault. "Adequate, but disappointing in a few areas."
The staff of the hotel was excellent. They were friendly, remedied any problems quickly, and were pleasant to interact with. The advertisement of a swimming pool was a little decieving. The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool as much as it has a huge tub of water that a few people could dip their feet in. Seriously, their pool is tiny. If you're a family […] looking for a hotel with a great pool to spend some time at, this isn't it. The other knock against this hotel is it is in a questionable area. There wasn't any apparent crime happening... but the area just didn't feel 100% safe. It seems to be in a slightly more run-down area of town. The room quality was adequate. The bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was good. The room wasn't large, but we didn't need it to be. Lots of TV channels, which made relaxing nice. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to the Ballpark, bad part of town!"
Everything about the hotel and room were fine except that we ask for and were given a non smoking room that just reeked of smoke. Its as if they just took a smoking room and placed a non smoking sign on it tens minutes before we got there. Also not knowing Kansas City we book a hotel close to Kauffman Stadium where we were headed. We did not know that […] this is a very rough part of town and nothing on Hotels.com lets you know this. "Good room for the price"
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were beyond soft! Breakfast was decent-biscuits and gravy, cereal, waffles, juice and pastries.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Served the purpose"
The room was clean, however older. Light bulbs missing in the sconce, the clothes iron didn't work, the toilet stopped flushing and we had to work on it every time we used it. The bathroom door would not latch shut. The bed frames were large with queen mattresses so we busted our legs a few times. Vending was locked up at 11 pm and we had to wake up […] the staff to get water and snacks which took several minutes to get someone to answer the door. Wireless internet worked great but very few outlets in the room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Overall a good hotel for the price"
We stayed there for one night and overall it was a good hotel for the price. The surrounding neighborhood seemed a little rough at first but we didn't experience any problems. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem with the room was the fan in the bathroom seemed to be falling out of the ceiling, other than that nothing seemed wrong […] with the room itself. "convenient and comfortable"
Our room was clean and comfortable, the hotel was right off I-70 and the staff and management were pleasant and helpful. The free hot breakfast was adequate. Not fancy but a decent value for the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"So comfortable and clean"
With the price being so affordable we didn't have high expectations for this hotel, but it ended up being amazing. The hotel was up to date, very clean, and the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to leave. We will absolutely return to this hotel if we get the chance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean but older hotel - Great staff & service"
When we arrived the staff was very friendly. After we entered our room, we realized that someone had smoked in it, even though it was non-smoking. The staff had us a new room in less than 5 minutes.Genuine Expedia guest review
"For the money it was ok"
Our hotel room smelled like smoke when we walked in so we had to hang out in our friends room so they could use an ozone cleaner. Then we found out our toilet didn't really flush and really didnt feel like changing rooms at that point. Otherwise, for the money we paid and the convenience to Arrowhead Stadium and Interstate access, we would stay there […] again. We would definitely get a different room if we had toilet issues again... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We requested a non-smoking room, but the room we were given was obviously formerly a smoking room as it REEKED! We complained to the front desk, and they gave us a much nicer, clean smelling room. "Decent hotel for the money"
Nice enough hotel in KC. Stayed on opening weekend of Chiefs, so lots of partying going on. Location is very nice and convienient to stadiums and downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I've stayed in worse!"
Found hair-tie on the floor of the bathroom, trash in one of the dresser drawers, and when moving the night stand to find a plug in, it appeared that part of the carpet hadn't seen a vacuum in awhile. The toilet and tub appeared clean, no bedbugs, and the carpet wasn't crunchy. There is a Dollar General right next door which is convienient. Behind the […] hotel, the neighboorhood appeared rundown but as there were no cops called to that location during our overnight stay (my wife would've heard the sirens as she sleeps lightly) perhaps appearances were decieving. The "pool" was noting more than a glorified hot tub. The staff was cordial enough and the biscuit and gravy for breakfast was decent. There is a Pizza Hut, Church's Chicken and a Mc Donalds all nearby. It's minutes from downtown and Arrowhead. I give it a 3.0 out of 5.0. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Value, other than the noise"
The hotel was nice and the staff was helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The downside was all the sirens that went off all night long, I heard multiple before falling asleep and then woke up four more times to them. The wifi was good, where I was able to get a connection.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Okay, but nothing special."
Pros: Decent! You get a clean room for not a whole lot of money. Lobby is cute and bright! Warm welcome at check-in! Breakfast provided daily! Access to vending machines and washer & dryer! Fridge in the room so we could keep cold drinks without having to keep buying them from the machine! Cute little pool outside looked clean and well-kept! Hotel located […] less than 3 miles from downtown attractions! Cons: It was more of a motel than a hotel in that you have to access your room from the outside, but at least you can park right by your door. Owner was friendly when we checked in, but barely acknowledged us any other time. One day water was shut off until noon without any kind of warning. There weren't very many staff people around in general--I had a hard time even checking out because there was no one at the desk. Breakfast was lacking...white bread, danishes, muffins, couple kinds of cereal, and sausage every morning (or at least the 3 days I was there)...kinda wish there had been a bit more variety. Ventured downstairs by accident one day and saw it was flooded--not sure where water came from or how long it had been there, but area wasn't blocked off or being worked on. Pool was not big enough to do laps or deep enough to swim. My biggest problem was the neighborhood. Nothing really around except run-down houses, a McDonald's, and a dollar store. Quite a few police sirens and angry people walking about outside yelling. I didn't feel safe walking around the hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Highly wouldn't recommend"
The door to our room did not have any weatherstripping allowing all and any bugs to enter into the room. Ceramic tile floor was dirty and the place is locate in the Ghetto. Gun fire, police and ambulance sirens ran all night long. No decent place to eat within a reasonable distance of the hotelGenuine Expedia guest review
"Research area first"
While the hotel service and cleanliness was great, the location was less than desirable--I found myself checking on my vehicle several times throughout the night. Also, our room did not come equipped with a fridge while many rooms, we noticed at check-out, did come with fridges. Just double check on what you are getting before you book.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel staff was excellent. I stayed here 2 separate nights 1 week apart. The first night when I thought I had a reservation I actually didn't. I had accidentally put in the wrong date on the reservation calendar. The woman who was working the desk was very gracious when she noticed and was very quick to let me know everything was fine and to not […] worry because they still had a few rooms available. The beds were super comfy! Everyone was very hospitable and tried hard to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. However, the first time we stayed there we entered from the interstate and left via interstate so was unaware of the neighborhood. The second time we entered from the interstate and was going to the "downtown" shopping district and my gps took me thru the neighborhood surrounding the location. I would have been apprehensive to stay had we been aware prior to our stay. We were safe and had no problems with our stay despite the surrounding neighborhood. For the price of the room we had a superior stay! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
No room apparently equipped as advertised ( no fridge or microwave ), room not what I would call exceptionally clean; very poor lighting in washroom sink area ( hard to shave )Genuine Expedia guest review

"very nice hotel except for the constant sirens goi"
The room, the staff and the hotel itself was very nice, however, there was a light right outside of our window that was a little hard to sleep through and the constant sirens from the emergency vehicles kept us up till well after we were ready to go to sleep.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Days Inn Kansas City"
Was a good place to crash after a Royals game and night out in the Power & Light District. The hotel was better than expected for the price. Front desk staff were very nice and the breakfast was nothing to brag about, but did the job.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Room for a Couple"
The hotel was really nice, looked like there was some work going on to improve it over all. The room was really nice for the money. I had the King no smoking. The setup was pretty nice. A great room for a couple. The lobby where I checked it was beautiful, very open and airy.Genuine Expedia guest review
The worst part about this place was the location. It was close to all the bbq that my wife and I were interested in, but it was in a very undesirable area. The rooms were remodeled recently, but were remodeled poorly. The breakfest was very limited with their choices. The walls were paper thin and we could near all the neighbors around us. The staff […] was very friendly. The maid service wasn't the best. They didn't give us things like new shampoo(which we ran out of) and soap. Im not even truly sure if they changed the bed sheets, but that wasn't a huge deal to us. There was no refrigerator or microwave which we wished we had when we were staying there three nights and had lots of good, extra bbq. Im sure there are some things I am forgetting, but I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a family. Hope this helps. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Day's Inn KC, good for the cost"
This hotel is newer, so you will find most things in working order and fairly neat. However, my roommate found the bed to be too hard and uncomfortable. Also, housekeeping/maintenance in the rooms was not stellar. The hotel service, although run by very nice down-home people who put extra attention into each customer, did not pay attention to detail. […] When you asked for things, you didn't necessarily get them. Our hotel room didn't have a trash can, and asking for it brought over the concierge who didn't believe we were missing one. We still never got one and reported it at checkout. When our travel companion in another room first got into his room, it was filled with the soda and beer remnants of the party the last guests must have had. Housekeeping must have not completed their job. Our travel companion was moved to another room. The location is handily located, but the area of town isn't the best. We had no problems with the neighborhood though. All in all, I would stay there again because the people were nice and it was very affordable. The trash can issue will likely not happen again. "Days Inn KCMO"
The hotel looked very nice from the outside and the room itself was pretty good looking. The manager was very nice. Upon entering the room I realized that there was no microwave or refrigerator that had been listed online under things that the room had. I had brought some perishable things and I needed a refrigerator. I went to the main lobby to tell […] the manager about it and I also showed him the webpage that said about the microwave and the refrigerator being included in ALL rooms. He said "I have no idea who put that there!" He then asked me if I wanted a fridge. I said sure. He took me into the back store room where there was one single fridge and he wheeled it back to my room. I thought it was very nice of him, until i opened the fridge and gagged on the smell of sour milk. I'm almost certain that he has that one fridge just to be able to say that he can offer one. It smells like sour milk so customers will tell their friends or hotel neighbors not to ask for one. Which in turn prevents him from needing to spend money on refrigerators. Other than the fridge- which I was extremely disappointed about, The ceiling was leaking and i had to kill multiple roaches in our bathroom at NOON. From experience I know that roaches only come out at night and I'm not quite sure why they were there at noon. I was extremely dissatisfied with the whole hotel and I would not recommend it to anyone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
