"horrible hotel"
The room was horrible, loud noise- had to notify security at 2:30 am, music playing in hall all night. Bed was hard, ceiling falling in bathroom and no hot water! "Great breakfasts, friendly bar, handy shuttle"
Nice little hotel in walking distance to museums & sculpture gardens, plus art stores & KC Art Institute. When you arrive, they ask if you want to pay a tad more to include breakfast (omelets made to order, plus much more), two drinks at the bar, and shuttle service (within nearby area). "Hotel Q in Kansas City"
I would not recommend this hotel. It is typical of older buildings that have been renovated. In our room, we could not turn the heat down. No windows to open. TV only works it lights are on. Shower and sink stopped up. Extremely small room. Although I had paid 2 nights, I left after one night and forfeited the money paid for the second night. "4 Days at the Q in Kansas City, MO"
Everything about the Q was fabulous!! They met our every need and desire. If they couldn't provide something they made sure you you were taken to it. This is certainly no "Spa", its a dated and old hotel masquerading as a hip and trendy venue. It is out of the way, has some of the unfriendliest staff in KC and generally is to be avoided if you are a business traveller.Genuine Expedia guest review
