"Decent hotel if its on sale"

"Convenient to convention center"

It was a nice stay, great location and somewhat responsive staff. The only drawback was the cleanliness of the room and bathroom and also the lack of a retail shop for small food items or a breakfast buffet option. "10 Minutes from Everything"
A very affordable hotel right in the heart of downtown Kansas City and about 10 minutes from everything. The staff is professional and courteous. My wife and I really appreciate the nostalgia of an older hotel and Hotel Phillips is exactly that. The fixtures, woodwork, elevators, lobby, all of it!
