My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was very nice and I am surprised it is not rated a four or higher star hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"convenient getaway"
I have stayed at this Hotel a couple of times and I find it meets my needs. I stay in a room with King size bed. It has been clean and the bed comfortable. We haven't used the amenities, but I find the staff very accomodating on the few requests I have asked for. On the first stay the Hotel was full of kids who were in town for a football tournament […] and I requested to be in a room away from the noise. We slept peacefully undisturbed the entire night. The negative I have to say about the Hotel would be the condition & maintenance. You can see obvious visible repairs needed on some of the walls and a smelly odor in the hallway. We had a room with a very slow drain in the sink and the second time we stayed it was that way with the shower/tub draining slow. I'm will book a stay here again. Upon arrival the toilet in the room was used and stopped up and the telephone didn't work. They were quick to remedy the phone and plumbing issues, but those ahould have never happened. We had breakfast delivered the next morning and none of the condiments were brought with the meal. That's not a big issue, but the bigger issue was the fact we tried […] calling the front desk, guest services, and room service for 20 minutes and no one would answer the phones. We had to go down to the front desk to remedy the problem. By the time we made it back to the room the breakfast was cold and terrible. Also, the rooms are situated below their conference room. We could hear everything going on in the conference rooms above us. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The good, the bad, the earplugs..."
I booked this hotel for my wife's birthday trip to see the Chargers play the Chiefs. The fact that the hotel was across the highway from the stadium and provided shuttle service were key to selecting it. First, the good: Everyone at the hotel was very nice. The quality of food was a pleasant surprise and prices were reasonable for a hotel restaurant. […] The room itself wasn't too bad in appearance, also it was much darker and drabber than in the pictures. The shuttle was convenient, if a little disorganized. It was also busier than expected, since the hotel allows the general public to pay a parking fee and use the shuttle. Then, the bad: The people in the room next door came "home" about 3AM. I expect to hear some noise, but I have never been in a hotel where sounds transmit so clearly. First was a fairly long conversation where we were fully privy to every word. Nothing was muffled, it was as though we were in the room with them. Once the conversation ended we became auditory voyeurs to every intimate movement and sound they made, being woken up several times during the night. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep. We left the next morning, even though the room was prepaid for 3 nights, and booked another hotel room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great for overnight after a Royals Game!"
The hotel was great! Our room overlooked the Royals and Chiefs stadiums. Our bed was comfy and everything was clean. Water park passes are not included with the room, which would have been nice, but we swam in the regular indoor pool and sat in the hot tub which were great. Also, there are towels by the pool so we didn't have to remember our own or […] bring some down from our room. Overall we had a great stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"DUMP!"
Late check in and my room smelled like an ashetray in a NON smoking hotel and the bathroom and shower were almost to tiny for me to fit and the price was HIGH for the quality. Will not being staying again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"coco key KC"
The hotel was close to kauffman and arrowhead stadiums. But, when we asked for a nearby bar&grill, we were given directions to go downtown. Not really what we were looking for. The desk workers need to listen to the needs of the guests.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Relax"
Some of the reviews I read after booking the hotel made me nervous but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel has been recently remodeled. We were disappointed to find out that the Holiday Inn has taken over what was the old Adam's Mark so it was a little less convenient to Kauffman Stadium that we were expecting. However, they had a shuttle and it […] was super. The room was nicely remodeled. The bathroom was TINY and we did find a lot of suprises on the carpet when something wet was dropped and covered in hair and debris when it was picked up - GROSS! We were also suprised when we found out that the hotel now houses a water park, but it was out of the way of where we needed to be and we didn't run into too many screaming children. To summarize, the hotel was nice, the shuttle was great, bathroom was small, carpet could have been vaccumed better and the staff was hit and miss with service.
