Room was spacious, bed was comfy & pillows fluffy. The lady that checked us in was super nice and gave my almost 3-year old daughter some little toys... :) The Link to Crown Center is very convenient and we had a good time shopping and visiting Legoland Discovery Center. The only negative was a rude parking attendant in the garage, but everything else was great! Would definitely stay there again...especially for this price! by Amy C from Omaha, NE on 05/13/13

Situated a short drive from downtown Kansas City, as well as at the central business district, and connected by walkway at the Crown Center and its theatres, restaurants and shops. The KCI International Airport is 20 miles away.

Stayed for the weekend with my husband and child. Hotel is in a great location. The Link walkway connects you to everything. The hotel staff was wonderful, the room was spacious, and very clean. Very comfortable bed. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Not happy at all! Got there at check in and was informed that they gave my room away and no more double beds available. They gave us a king bed for three people to sleep on and a roll out for my 11 yr old to sleep on. No blankets for the roll out and ripped up sheets. Valet brought car around with tire flat down to the rim. No offer of assistance to air up tire. No offer of assistance to change tire. If my husband hadn't been there (in a different vehicle) I would have been out in the cold changing my own tire in a skirt. Valet service = terrible!

This hotel is conveniently located near Crown Center, Legoland, restaurants, etc. The main drawback is the parking -- either you choose valet parking or take your chances on the availability of self parking about a block away. Another downside is that the hotel charges for Wi-Fi in the rooms, so we had to go to the lobby area to connect free of charge. The hotel was a good choice for the price. It was close to all the attractions, LegoLand, SeaLife, Hallmark, Crown Center, Union Station, & WW1 Memorial. The pool area needed updating. The hotel is linked by a covered walkway to most everything.

The hotel is undergoing some renovations. We had to wind our way through the hotel to check in/out, but once the renovations are completed, I'm sure it will be much better. I liked the "Link" to Crown Center. We didn't have to worry about traffic and could walk to everything.

Inconveience to get around hotel. parts are sectioned off for remodel. Train tracks are two blocks to the north of the property, it can get very noisy when the train is passing by.

Okay, The renovation really disrupted things. the night of our check in, we had no way of getting to reception via the streets. We had to flag A valet who then went inside for quite a while to try and get a cart, all the while we had two very sleepy children after driving 4 and a half hours.
