"Cheap & clean"
If all you need is a very clean, bare-bones room with a comfortable bed for a low price, this is for you. The room has an older fat-screen tv & fridge, but no coffee maker or hairdryer or iron. The breakfast room is tiny & congested (a wafflemaker, yes, but coffee in white styrofoam cups, & not much else). "Won't be back."
This was our second visit this year. There won't be a third. The first room we were assigned hadn't been cleaned. The second rooms carpet was dirty. The sheets looked wrinkled...almost as if they hadn't been washed (I'm assuming they had been because they didn't smell bad). The fan/light combo in the bathroom made a horrible racket when turned on. Some […] of the bath linen had stains. I complained at checkout, but the man at the desk didn't seem to be interested. "Econolodge- friendly check in staff, clean rooms"
The check in staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean (although the towels were thread-bare). The "breakfast" was surprisingly bad. The man working was incredibly rude and boasted proudly "no protein here- we're carb friendly" and meant it. There wasn't a scrap of peanut butter, an egg, anything that resembled food you'd want your kids […] to eat. It was all sugar cereal, waffles, and garbage. That was a bummer. "Not what I expected"
There is no stage near this hotel. The mattresses were about three inches high and the rooms very tired. Small pool was dirty at the bottom. I did not sleep well here and for the price I felt it was not a good deal as a stay over on a road trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"High rating not worthy. Disappointing stay."
The main reason we chose to stay at this property was due to the rating, perceived value and the outdoor pool. The kids were struck right off the bat by the lack of care given to the motel. The pool was small...could live with that. The problem with the pool was the multiple black hairs found in the pool. The water had an awkward taste to it. The location is off the 5 freeway just north of town. You must drive to downtown Ashland, but it is not far. The room appeared lacklustre. It had very large cracks in the entry area -on the ceiling and the wall. The mattress was shabby. The walls were thin. We could here people stomping around above us at all hours.
