NYLO Plano at Legacy

My husband and I went here for a little getaway. The hotel was very nice and clean. Couldn't ask for a better location. Everything you would need was very close by. There were just a few cons, but I could live with them. No room service for one. On hotels.com listing it stated in room robes, nope. The bed, oh the bed. We thought it was comfy for the […] first 10 minutes. Extremely firm. We both woke up with back and neck pain. Also there was a wedding going on at the same time as our stay. It was outrageously loud. We were on the 3rd floor facing the pool and the noise was just too much to handle. Not really romantic when all you hear is loud music and people screaming till midnight. By far my biggest complaint was the noise and the parking. Because there was a wedding there ALL the parking was taken. We had to park very far. Just a suggestion NYLO, in the future designate parking for wedding guests in the back so the actual paying hotel guests can have a place to park. The hotel's in a good neighborhood so I wasn't worried, but it just wasn't right that we had to park far away. Hopefully there isn't a party or wedding the night you go. Read more

I am not sure what I expected I guess, but it wasnt a concrete closet with a bed in it. The pictures were certainly misleading. The people were really nice. I will never stay there again.

The front desk helpers are the best part of the nylo. Very different hotel but a good kind of different. Add bathtubs to room and dont lock the ac and i will be back.

I loved this hotel so much. It was very different from any hotel I'd been in. The design made it feel like you really had gotten away to like NYC or something! Very hip and chic with lots of unique eateries across the street. Would definitely go back.

My husband and I had a great time at this ultra modern hotel. The rooms were gorgeous as was the entire hotel. The atmosphere was cool, the staff great, restaurant delicious, and the pool amazing at night. I hope to stay again in the future.

This is a nice quaint hotel and the rooms were small but comfortable. My only complaint was the condition of the lobby furniture. All the furniture were badly soiled and stained, therefore, no clean seating in the lobby area.

When visiting the DFW area, Plano is a safe bet. It is ranked the safest city in America by many sources. This hotel is definitely very nice and the price is reasonable for the quality you get. I took my wife for a romantic weekend getaway at the NYLO Plano Location and though the hotel looks good on the outside the service, maintenance philosophy and lack of management were the worst I have ever seen. We checked in on Friday and noticed our room was warmer than normal, so we turned it on high and thought that would cool it down. After a late […] dinner and dancing we came back to find that it was still 79 degrees in the room. We sweated through the night and set out for a long day of shopping at a local venue; we called the front desk to let them know the issue and they informed us they would look at it while we were gone, when we got back it was warmer than the day before. We asked to be moved to a different room and they said they wanted to have maintenance look at it first before they made any kind of decision. The maintenance man came and informed me the AC was working perfect, so I grabbed a piece of paper and held it in front of the AC and it would not even blow the paper, so he suggested a box fan. Long story short we went to dinner came back and asked for a manager, which one never showed up so we packed our things up and checked out a night early and went home. Needless to say we will not be staying at a NYLO Hotel again and will advise all of our frineds about our experience and the lack of service that was provided to us. They hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, HOWEVER...Our shower handle was broken off and sitting on the counter, the bathroom mirrors were crackling on the inside, our blow dryer was shooting small flames, the ipod dock was not compatible with a 3g phone, the ottoman leg was broken, and the throw pillow on the sofa had dried residue of something […] on it. While all of that was off-putting, the mattress was super comfy, the pool was very nice and we had a fantastic waiter named "Blessings" at the pool where the dip and pita bread was awesome. If interested in a very hip and cool experience, be sure to check out NYLO Plano. Staff was kind, knowledgeable and courteous and the hotel itself was very clean and stylish. Reminded me of a lounge I frequent in NYC. Highly recommend.
