NYLO Plano at Legacy has 176 guestrooms and suites with modern, loft-style decor, including high ceilings, polished concrete floors, and exposed brick walls. Pillowtop mattress with Egyptian-cotton sheets are provided in all guestrooms. Complimentary amenities include wireless and wired high-speed Internet access, bottled water, and local and domestic long-distance phone calls, and voice mail. Rooms are equipped with iPod docking stations and 32-inch LCD HDTVs with cable channels, ESPN, HBO and Video on Demand. The hotel was aesthetically appealing. I thought that it was strange that the room did not automatically come with a microwave and refrigerator. I also got stuck in the bathroom. An engineer had to come and oil the tracking on the door to free me. That was a bit disconcerting (what if there was a fire). Also the hotel got really loud on the second night. "Charming Feel...Wish the bed was more comfortable"
The hotel has a very modern, bare-bones, loft feel, which was neat. It was too cold to jump in the pool, but the outdoor area looked pretty inviting. "Not what we were expecting..."
We've stayed at other NYLO's before, but this one was not on the same level of the others. The shower in our room had water damage around the base and was beginning to mold and the paint was peeling. There were horrible brown spots and other odd streaks on the walls. The hallway had an odd mold like odor. The rooms decor was lacking, not in quanity, […] but quality. The bed was good, but not as good as the other properties. The lone chair and ottoman, were stuff, and smelled a bit weird. The lights/lamps were hung way to low. We kept running into them. The sheets were kinda harsh to the touch, and the towels were like sandpaper. While toweling off, the towel I was using ripped like tissue paper. (Guess I'm stronger than I thought) Also, we were supposed to get a larger room, but what we got felt smaller than the regular sized rooms. I guess all the space went to the giant window in the room. The location was good. There is a lot to do in the area. It's right off a major toll exchange, so if you have a universal TX tag, that makes things easier. The uncluttered loft atmosphere was very relaxing. We really enjoyed the shower which was big enough for two and had one of those large rain shower type heads. The beds were more comfortable than most hotels. We slept like babies. Free WiFi was a real benefit. "Uncomfortable bed"

This is the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. You could hear every guest in the hotel all night long. There was a party downstairs that was playing unbelievable loud hip hop till midnight and then of course the guests coming in from party till 2:00 in the morning. "Close to my soccer fields I had to referee at"
I thought this was one of th eworst experiences I have had ever at a hotel. I had a bigger room in my college dorm. Teh rooom was so small, I couldn't even walk into the room with my bag on my shoulder. I constantly tripped over my stuff, and felt clausterphobic the entire time. The term "laudry service" means there is one washing machine for hundreds […] of people, and the cleaning creww uses that washer for washing scrap towels, so good luck. Granted it was very busy but the cleaning crew was in the hall way all hours of the day and night and you had to push their stuff to the side to get by EVERYTIME you walked in the hallway. The hallway was so narrow, two people could barely pass each other without bumping into each other. The only thing I liked was the bed. So, if you need to feel rich and trendy stay here. If you care about room, comfort, not feeling clausterphobic in ANY part of the hotel, not having to push aside dirty cleaning carts everytime you walk in the hallway, or taking a bath, then you might look elseware. Unless you are a huge fan of the loft motif, this is the worst hotel in America. The room feels like a jail cell with concrete walls and floor. Convenient location, ambiance is comfortable, food in restaurant is okay but some portions are on the small side. I enjoyed breakfast buffet...fruit is always fresh and presentation of food is good. Eggs were over heated on the breakfast buffet table. Recommend they lower the sterno heat. Scallops with the sauted spinach for dinner were fantastic. I […] would recommend this meal. Maid service is good but slow...my room wasn't cleaned until late afternoon. However love the free bottles of water and convenient coffee maker in the rooms. I would recommend they offer tea bags however, as I don't drink coffee and was yearning for a cup of tea before bedtime. The bar is always relaxing and the bar tenders are terrific! The loft concept is good, but this hotel lacks any type of warmth. It was like staying in a tomb.
