The staff were incredibly friendly, we felt like they actually tried to get to know us as friends. The free breakfast was yummy, nothing extraordinary.... They have movies that you can take to your room at any time. You can walk out the back and find yourself on the shore of the marina, great for nighttime strolls! The only downside was that hotels.com advertised there being a pool, and there isn't one. Definitely not too bad tho, seeing as you are right by the water, and a ten minute walk from some fun shopping and the beach itself! We took a day to walk all through Venice and Santa Monica, no driving necessary. We will definitely be coming back here!! by a Hotels.com guest on 05/10/13

"Cozy, Intimate and Quiet" Still rings true!! Great Location, everything is nearby and driving around to multiple beaches is so close. Rooms are clean, Beds are new and comfy, Marina/Swimming area is in the backyard, and Cheesecake Factory is attached (along with other restaurants in walking distance). Yes, this is an older property with well worn mattresses, but it is clean and comfortable. The location is on the beach, which beats the Marriott. The staff is very helpful and you just can't beat the walking paths along the harbor. The lobby is furnished with snacks, coffee, and DVD's to make it comfortable for those on a long stay.

We stayed here three nights while touring the LA area and were very pleased. There is a private marina beach out front and Venice Beach is a ten minute walk away. Accommodations are not new, but nice and clean. Make sure to request a bayside upper. We would definitely stay here again.

Good rooms with AC and porch over looking the beach and marina. Breakfast was excellent and included in the room rate! Parking is free, and the area was close to all major freeways, Venice & Santa Monica Beaches, and good food close by. Much better than staying downtown LA!

Nous sommes recemment partis à Los Angeles pour un week-end avec un couple d'amis et nous cherchions un hôtel pas cher et très bien situé. Cet hôtel à répondu à nos attentes. Nous avons partagé une chambre double assez spacieuse avec un grand patio sur la Marina. Bien que les prestations de la chambre soient simples et un peu vieillottes, il y avait […] un frigo, un micro-onde et une TV écran plat. Le petit déjeuner était inclus dans le prix de la chambre et a dépassé nos attentes: céréales, pain, bagels, jus d'orange, thé et café à volonté. L'hôtel donne directement sur la Marina et est très proche de Venice Beach (10min à pied). À recommander si vous partez avec des amis ou si le prix est votre priorité. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Breakfast was good, staff was nice and helpful, and the location is perfect. Close to Venice Beach. The hotel is situated just beside Marina del Ray beach. Simply perfect! We would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family!

The hotel was much better than we thought! It's on the beach, clean rooms, good customer service, free airport shuttle, breakfast included, free dvd rental etc. We loved it! And the price was very good :)
