"Not a place I will return to."
I thought this looked like a fairly nice hotel and people who had recently stayed here seemed to give it good reviews. The receptionist upon check-in was extremely rude (not a way to make a good first impression)! The "heated indoor pool" was definitely not heated. Part of the 2nd evening was spent sitting outside. Another guest was cooking dinner (fried […] chicken) in her hotel room and things sparked, causing the food to smoke and setting the fire alarms off. We all had to exit the building and wait til the Fire Department arrived, shut off the alarm and gave the all-clear! The hotel smelled of smoke and burnt food for the rest of the evening! To make matters worse-when I got back to my room, I realized it did not have a smoke detector. They were at least nice enough to move me to another room. My 1 compliment of this hotel goes to the receptionist working the evening all the chaos took place-she remained calm, pleasant and really did a great job, even though there was so much going on!
