Either I got lucky and my experience was rare, or this really is a thrifty gem. The rooms were spotless -- they apparently had just been redone before I arrived. Brand new furniture. The recent upgrade was suprisingly classy for a motel. Rooms (our group had 5 rooms) were clean with plantation blinds, crown molding, new heat/air units, flat screen TV, great stone tiled bathroom, nice bedding ( a light weight blanket would have been nice). They just got all new furniture so everything is very nice. The staff was absolutely amazing very warm and friendly. It was our first time in this town and the staff gave great recommendations that made our trip extra special. We will be staying again.

My wife, 2 year old child and I were surprised by the updated decor; finding out later the hotel was renovated just recently. The room was exceptionally clean and the bedding & bath towels were both soft, unlike the sandpaper texture that some of us who travel are used to. We slept quite well without the itching of bed bugs and the bed was quite soft […] & comfortable (without the sagging feeling of an old bed). The pool, which we didn't have a chance to use, appeared to be crystal clean and the overall appearance of the property was impressive as it was all well kept & clean as well. The parking was ample and we were able to park directly in front of our room on both days, thanks to the fact that it appeared the guests were spread out throughout the property; allowing for privacy and peace & quiet without having to hear the guests next door. Check in was a breeze. This is an older hotel has obviously been remodeled recently. Very comfortable bed and large shower. New comforters and bedding. New bathroom. Beautiful, clean pool. All the basic necessities provided. Only problem was at 11:30 pm when we called for a wake up call, staff didn't answer. But, the room had an alarm clock, so we used […] that. Great value!!
