The hotel is about 5 minutes away from I45 and we chose to stay here because the hotels in Galveston were more expensive. The hotel looks modern, and... had friendly staff. Our room was clean and we really liked having a microwave and refrigerator in the room. They don't serve a continental breakfast but they do sell snacks in the lobby. The front desk staff person was very helpful when we arrived. She even called the room after we were settled in to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was small, but it had a kitchen, so that was nice. The description on Expedia said the room opened out to a deck, so I was disappointed to arrive and find that there was no deck. Very nice hotel. Travel companions complained a bit about noise from A/C in room and blinking light on smoke detector, but found the full kitchen, desk, and overall cleanliness of the room very nice.

It was ok nothing to do on site but it worked for what we needed. The price was right and it was a 15 minute drive to the cruise terminal so it was fine. Also close enough to go the the coast for dinner.

Very nice kitchen area with all the cookware included. I was very pleased with the comfort of the bed and pillows. The only drawback is that there is no continental breakfast offered, but they do have a kitchenette in the rooms to cook your own.

It is off of the beaten path yet close enough to highways. The staff was amazing. The Internet went down and the owners had the company working all night and day to fix it. The hotel was wonderful. We were very pleased with everything about the room. The only thing I was a little disappointed about was that there was no breakfast and I was unaware of that. The room is equipped for you to prepare your own breakfast but we did not know that so we were not prepared. Our hotel stay was great! There was a small tv issue that was fixed within 15 minutes. Directly after checking in, we went to our room and immediately cut on the tv using the remote. There was a loud "pop" and the tv would not respond. We immediately called the front desk. The very helpful hotel staff came up to our room to check the problem. She confirmed […] that the tv went out and immediately called maintenance for a replacement. The maintenance guy brought another tv within 15 minutes.
