"ok but needs courteous employees"
The morning hotel staff needs some help in being cheerful and helpful especially considering they have a lot of cruise guests. The breakfast had a lot to be desired also. "You carnot get breakfast aftner 7 o'clock"
Nice staff at the frontdesk. The only trouble we have had with this hotel was that we could not get any breakfast. We came down at 8 o'clock at then we could not get a table and there was nearly no food at all. We had to go to Deny's to get breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean and Well-Maintained"
Since Galveston is just a 15 minute drive, this is a good option for those who want to be close to Galveston, but not pay the price. The hotel and our room was very clean and furnishings were new. I think the employees need better training. We got lost and the girl at the check-in counter couldn't give us directions from I-45, and made it clear she […] did not know the neighborhood or where anything was nearby...not even what was for breakfast. "Don't get up at 6am to eat breakfast (as sign says) on weekends!"
Excellent check in, room, and excellent cleanliness. Stayed overnight to get up early the next day to go fishing. We inqured what time the complimentary breakfast was served the next day (Sat) and the girl said 6 am, as was posted on the door of the breakfast area. At 6 am there was no breakfast! "Comfort Inn in Texas City"
We always stay at Comfort Inns. This one was just as we expected with one exception. The breakfast was not nearly as good as the others.
