    We stayed at San Antonio, Galveston, and Great Wolfe during our vacation. Texas City is 10 min away from Galveston Island Beach with 1/3 of the price.... Fishtales on 25th+Seawall was great food right on the beach!!! My son and I even surfed with a rented surfboard--41st +Seawall. Only at hotel to sleep but we also swam in pool or ocean. Walked around corner Taco Bell + Mac D's right around corner. by Family Man .  from Oklahoma on 07/06/11

    Hotel was clean. Night clerk was fantastic; very friendly and helpful. He gave us extra blankets towels etc. Breakfast included cereal, toast, milk and juice, and waffles. Decent place for families and close to beach.
