"Hyannis was beautiful"
Cape Cod and Hyannis is beautiful, the hotel was within walking distance to everything. The food in the resteraunts were wonderful. The Hotel was another story. We were there for our Honeymoon. The first night we were there, we called and complained about the room above us, from midnight until the wee hours of early AM, it sounded like a heard of cattle […] above us, we thought they were going to come thru the ceiling. We complained at midnight and management did nothing. We were woken up early every day because of the pounding on the floor from above us. We complained several times, only for the front desk to do nothing. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because of the outdoor fire place, when we asked about the night time fires, we were told it was broken and there wasn't going to be any fires the rest of the season. Needless to say, we were very dissapointed at lack of involement from the management and staff. Next tile we go to Hyannis, we will find another place, we were not happy at all. "Worst Front Desk Accommodations!"
Queen at front desk is robotic in her speech n talks over the guests, like she just wants to get thru her speech. When asking about directions she is useless. Another hotel staff who was leaving for the day helped us out. The maids are friendly n hard working. We've stayed there once before this time with no issue but this time ruined it. We will book […] elsewhere as we love Hyannis n Cape Cod. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what we reserved."
We reserved deluxe king bed waterfront view not available. N The young man at desk said do not even have a waterfront room but they could up grade our room to two queen size beds with bay view. We took the room and when we got to room there was no bay view. We went back and she said it was called a bay room not bay view. We left our bags in room and […] said no more. We tried to get another room at Hampton Inn but it was full. We stayed only one night but we will never stay there again. Front of facility looks good but rooms are old with wall paper coming off walls. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Looks can be deciving"
On the outside the hotel looks beautiful and they claim to have remodeled rooms. However, adding a granite counter top to the entertainment center and a flat screen tv, is what they consider remodeled. The room was stuffy and felt dirty. The towels were well used. I would not stay at this hotel again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Disappointing"
Even employees could not easily locate rooms in the maze. Surrounding area included spray painted cars. Room smelled.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hyannis Harbor Hotel - Bad flashback to the 1960's"
The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location to the ferry terminal! It has not been updated since the 60's with dimpled linoleum floor (yes, with grime in the those dimples), small cramped bathroom, and a bed straight from a cheap chain hotel. The price was that of a 3 or 4 star hotel and the hotel should be rated a one star.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hyannis Harbor Hotel - expensive and run down"
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Cape Cod Hospital, and because it looked so beautiful online. By the time I checked in, the king room I booked was gone, and a run-down 2 double bed room was substituted. It opened directly into the parking lot which felt unsafe, and the walls were paper thin so the conversation in the adjoining room was […] audible until 2am. There were burn marks and dark scuffs in the bathroom linoleum, so it looked dirty even though it wasn't. Water leaked under the carpet between the bathroom and bed, so I stepped into a sopping wet, 4' diameter section of carpet. I tried to check out early, but was told if the room was booked through Hotels.com, then it was prepaid and unrefundable. The manager was extremely kind and understanding, apologized about the room, said it didn't represent their hotel, offered 1/2 price for the night I stayed and for a nicer room in a different part of the hotel. When I still wanted to check out, he was very gracious, still gave me the discounted price, said he'd cancel the Hotels.com charge, and offered to find me other accommodations. He could not have been nicer about it. I didn't take advantage of the hotel's restaurant, bar or pool. Perhaps with a more updated room, and the visit being for vacation instead of a hospital visit, it could have been a fun place to stay. It was still too expensive compared to the competition. "Avoid During Summer"
My friend and I booked a room here through Expedia. We paid top dollar and had a view of the far back parking lot. We had to carry our luggage ourselves, to the second floor (there are no elevators) and the staircase and hallway were not air-conditioned. The temperature outside was in the nineties and the temperature in the enclosed staircase and hallways […] was unbearable. Once inside the room, which was at the level of a middle class motel, one bed clearly had a hair on it and the sheet had a small stain that looked like it had been there for quite a while. My friend and I were aghast with the entire experience. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Dump"
I have booked numerous hotels on Expedia over the years and have always been happy with both the recommedations, review and photos of the hotels. This was a surprise and an exception to our past experience. We found this hotel to be far below expectations in just about every area. First at check-in there was one person at the desk who did not appear […] to be trained. About 20people were in line ahead of us . It also appeared that many of the people were either being denied reservations or were unsatisfied with their rooms. It was a terrible situation and the one employee was completly confused. Other guest were demanding to see the manager who was nowhere to be found. After more than an hour we were given a room which turned out to be a handicapped room (we are not handicapped). The room was in the worst location, in the back near the parking lot. The hallway was filled with garbage and dirty linen. A maid walked by and apoligized for the mess but did not pick it up. The room was not clean and the shower did not work correctly. Numerous calls to the lobby went unanswered. We went to the restaurant at the hotel. The waitress there said they had no affiliation with the hotel even thought the front-desk clerk said they were. We went to the lobby on four occasions and the previously described scene was repeated i.e. customers in the lobby complaining and asking to see a manager who was not there. All in all one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Hyannis Harbor Hotel"
This hotel needs alot of work. Customer service was very poor. Only some rooms are completly redone. It took two hours and thirty minutes to get checked in. The front desk help was no help at all, she could barely speak and understand English.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
