The service was terrible. i asked for king bed but put in 2 doubles. no microwave or fridge. when I asked front rep for coffee she said go to your room. The room wasnt all that clean either. could of used some sweeping or vacuum. The bathroom had a hanging faucet. We could see the pipes behind the wall. You could see the build up of dust in the vents. The coffee maker in the room was gross!! Once again I'm glad I booked with this site online because the hotel didn't have anything.

The rooms we were given were horrible. They stunk-literally. The first must have been a smoking room at one time, Smoking on the property is now forbidden, but it still stunk like cigarettes. The blankets on the two double beds were old and mismatched. The door to the room was covered with marks and ruts that looked like there were attempted break-ins. […] The folding door to the closet had been ripped off the hinge and never replaced. The sink was slow to drain in both rooms. No soap in one room. The carpet smelled so bad in the second room, I had to cover my nose with my well-worn sheets. My toes kept getting stuck in the hole in the top sheet. The only nice thing was the Starbucks cafe in the lobby. I booked the two rooms with RESORT PACKAGES. When checking in, front dest lady told me it was booked with room ONLY. I asked her to check again, but she insisted room ONLY. This hotel was horrible. The restaurant was equally bad. We chose the hotel due to location and the water park. The water park WAS a HUGE hit with the kids. Other than the waterpark, this hotel has no redeaming qualities. Next time I would stay somewhere else, and pay to go to the waterpark separately.

A group of mom's and kids decided to visit Coco Keys and stay overnight at the hotel. Although we expected it to be busy we could never have imagined the chaos we experienced. It was like a game of survivor. We arrived at 9:45 a.m. and there was a line into the water park that went almost out the door. When we made our way to the hotel lobby, there […] was a long line of people waiting to check in and get their water park passes. However, when we elbowed our way back to the water park area with bags, coats and kids in toe, we were disappointed to discover that lockers weren't provided and had to go back to the water park desk and stand in yet another line to get a locker (which cost $6). When we got our locker key, we learned that there were almost no lockers left and had to search for one. The park was jam packed, lines to the changing rooms and bathrooms, and not a table or chair to be had as they were all taken even though the park had just opened. As the day went on, the toilets in the ladies room became clogged, and the hot water for the showers wasn't working at one point. There were no staff aaround to help answer questions or direct you. As paying hotel guests coming to use the water park, we expected that we would have been given some kind of preference at the water park but you are treated no different than someone who walks off the street to use the park. This hotel is not bad. We only stayed one night. But we weren't there for the water park and I think most other people who stayed there came for the attraction. We came back to our hotel late at night and had an issue with out neighbors. The lady who worked the front desk was fantastic! She is the only reason I would recommend this hotel. She apologized […] even though we knew it was not the hotels fault and she swiftly got us a new room. She even gave us breakfast vouchers for the trouble. The room was nice and clean. My experience with the CoCo Keys Holiday Inn had it's ups and downs but overall good experience. I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago before they remodeled and it wasn't a favorable review then. Upon check-in they didn't have the accurate room request. I chose 2 double beds and they had my reservation as 1 King with a pull out couch. They quickly corrected […] the issue as I stood at the desk. Upon arrival at the room, we had a great view from our balcony of the interior of the hotel across from the restaurant. The balcony had a piece of crust from pizza on it which was a slight turn off. We left the hotel for several hours to visit family that evening. When we arrived back at the room late our key cards did not work. We had to go back to the desk to have them reprogram them. They said a cell phone or contact with another card could be the problem. The next day, the breakfast buffet was great. However, there was a piece of hair in one of the fresh fruit bowls on the buffet, which made us decide not to try that. We went to the pool. It was relaxing and clean. The bathrooms/shower area was clean. The hot tub was out of order, which was disappointing. My son had scraped his knee outside while he was playing around and one of the employees went to the front desk and brought us an antiseptic wipe, ointment, and a band aid. We left the hotel for hours to visit with our family again. Arriving late and again the cards were deprogrammed. That time I had made sure they were not near a cell phone or any other card accept for the other key card. They couldn't explain why it happened this time. The next day, the breakfast buffet was wonderful, the fruit was fresh and delicious. We were gone all day and we decided to have them reprogram the cards prior to arriving at the room to save the time. This hotel is a very noisey one. There is a water park in the hotel that caters to young families. That by itself would not be a problem, but the halls and rooms were very loud until at least 11pm. The bathroom also needed to be updated.
